"I set up an appointment with Skyline Maintenance because my chimney cap kept falling off. Michael from Skyline did a full assessment and found that the top of my chimney was crumbling, many of the bricks were broken and the mortar was deteriorating almost all the way down the chimney! He took pictures of the top of the chimney to further explain the issues and showed me exactly where the repairs needed to be made. Due to all the broken bricks, the interior clay flue lining was also in disrepair. He and his crew worked professionally to repair all the bricks, patch up mortar holes and install a metal flue liner to prevent further degradation of the clay flue liner. His crew provided excellent workmanship and my chimney almost looks like new! He also warranties his work. I would recommend using Skyline for any of your masonry needs."

"The most professional home improvement company I have hired yet. Bessy and Yanni are a professional, soft spoken, knowledgeable and efficient team that will assess your repair or installation quickly and provide you the accurate cost on the spot. They were the first to respond and after speaking with Bessy at my home I hired them instantly. They were at my home early the next morning and began the work without delay. They were well prepared and custom made my seamless gutters right there. Their men removed my old gutters that were destroyed when a tree fell on the back of my house. The new gutters went up so fast it was just amazing. They also replaced another gutter on my back door neighborâ s garage that was also damaged by the tree removal service. They did exactly what they said they would do. The finished job looks perfect, a first choice job by a first choice company. Bessy then followed up after the job was completed to be sure I was satisfied with the work. Sounds like an advertisement, but hey - give credit where credit is due. "I had several estimates for my project and I decided on Alined. Dominick explained the project in terms that I could understand and pictures were taken of the inside of the chimney and the outside. I could see that the chimney liner needed to be replaced. They also fixed the brick work on the roof of the chimney. My husband also asked Dominick to fix something that had nothing to do with this project and he did it without charging extra. It was taping up the exhaust pipe that was a little loose. We were very pleased with the work. Everything was neat and they cleaned up after they finished. I would recommend them."

"Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we requested an estimate from Quality 1st for two jobs -- inspect and repair a brick chimney and repair our stone porch which had started to sink. Oscar came out within a couple of days, talked about the project, sent us an estimate and we hired his company. Couldn't be happier. Oscar told us the job would take one day, and we were a bit skeptical about that. But he did it and he did it well! Two crews came out and while one tackled the repair and repointing of our chimney, the other worked on our porch. Watching the crew repair the porch was amazing. We requested all the stones be reused because they were original to the house. When each stone was lifted, it was placed "puzzle-like" on a tarp, and after reinforcement of the sunken parts of the porch, the stones were replaced in the the same manner in which they were removed. The chimney is fixed and no longer losing bricks. We trust every bit of the work performed that day. The crew was friendly, polite, and knowledgeable--and Oscar worked right beside them. I would absolutely hire Quality 1st Maintenance again."

"After my metal chimney snapped and fell off the roof, I tried calling a few different companies, being told it was the busy season and that they would try and get me in eventually. I called Shamrock and talked with Chris who was able to schedule a quote for the next day. Joe and Darien arrived and told me they could fix it up right there and then. They installed a new liner, repaired the chimney from the roof up, replaced the cap and cleaned up all within an hour and a half. They were also very friendly and informative, letting me know exactly what they were doing. Highly recommended for chimney repair."

"Several of my family members who live out of the tri-state area had installed fireplace inserts, and they were really pleased with them. The price they paid was considerably less (about 40% less) than the places I checked on Long Island. I wasn't about to overpay for a fireplace insert because I went to a fancy showroom. Looking on Craigslist.com, I found Captain Soot. He asked me to describe my fireplace (which was built in 1962) and provide him with overall outside dimensions and depth of the firebox. He suggested the same model that my family members had installed, and the price was right! I also needed a new chimney which he gave me a good price on. The Captain almost seemed too good to be true. I thought there had to be a catch, but no! He showed up when he said he would, with the fireplace model & finish we discussed, with the new flue, all at the price we discussed and did everything professionally and quickly. We have had our insert for two years, and the Captain recommended that after two years we get the flue cleaned. There is no one else would would rather have maintain our fireplace. Highly recommend!"
