- Get rid of drafts. Check your windows and doors for drafts. Run a bead of caulk around any leaky areas.
- Maintain your garbage disposal. Run cold water when using your garbage disposal. Always avoid putting grease, egg shells or coffee grounds in your disposal.
- Insulate pipes. Wrap interior and exterior pipes in insulation to guard against breaks and leaks.
- Use light clips. Holiday light clips make hanging lights easier. Be sure to add clips to your lights before installation.
