"Ed was great to work with and his bid was thorough, quick to come and competitive. His assembled crew and he were professional at all times and were here on time every day until completion of the project that included: removal of a sub standard sub floor in our family room and reframing where needed to accept a new, insulated sub floor plus a 3/4 inch prefinished oak floor. They found some framing surprises lurking once the original floor was removed but dealing with these identified irregularities impacted the original budget by only several hundred dollars for increased material and labor costs. All floor related work along with some electrical upgrades and the hanging of face mount barn style sliding doors went smoothly and Ed kept me informed daily of both progress and issues as they arose. The serious and worsening bounce in our floor is now history and we are delighted with all the work that was done here. The crew was mindful of safety issues throughout the week that they spent here and managed work area space accordingly. Even our chocolate lab, Perla, liked them all and looked forward to daily playtime with the carpenters in spite of the noise. I would certainly engage Ed on future home projects and recommend him to others without reservation."
