Our building has about 120 units and the basement definitely has larger roaches but I'm not sure why we are plagued this much when our neighbors (who have lived here for 5 years) aren't. We also keep the kitchen and bedroom windows open to detract the roaches with cold air but that seems to do little to help. I'm unsure if we are potentially missing a nest in our apartment or if they are getting in another way but I'm starting to get desperate. I'm nervous to know if they are in the wood of our cupboard or maybe in the wires of our appliances. We've had the building exterminator come once a month to put down gel and we even bought the same gel he uses (advion) to kill them but nothing seems to work. I'd love to hear prices for someone coming out to potentially either spray, looking at & block any access points or holes, or even fumigation if it's that bad.
