"Chris and Matt came in and installed two bathroom exhaust fans for me. They worked in tandem, one in each bathroom, and had the fans installed in 3.5 hours. Chris and Matt were also very patient as we had to work around some complications with the fans I had purchased as well as my old house. In the end, the job was completed well, on time, and at a very fair price, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing electrical work."

"Conner, owner of Stevens Electric, is a true professional. He was immediately responsive to my urgent need for an electrician on a bathroom renovation. He came the day of my request to review the project. Quoted the project over the weekend and accommodated my schedule the next week amongst his many projects. His workmanship is quality. I highly recommend his services and will definitely contact him again on my next project."

"Buck and Wayne installed a mini split heating and cooling system in an attic bedroom/bath. The space was very tight and it took a lot of expertise and creativity on their part to hide all the piping. The outside unit mounted on the back of the house above a porch is a lot more visible than I thought it would be but they did everything they could to make it less intrusive. They arrived before 8 am and had to work outside in some bitter temperatures to install the outdoor unit. At the end of the day, Buck and Wayne took time to made sure that I knew how to operate the unit and that I could call if I had questions. I did a walk-through after they left and the rooms including the attic storage space were spotless. I would highly recommend them for any heating and cooling work you are considering."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesByfield Electricians are rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 100 reviews of 100 pros.
