"Martin worked on replacement of our over-range microwave. We had issues with the previous oven's ventilation due to poor coupling with existing rigid ductwork. Martin explained the nature of the problem and provided options for either adapting the new oven to existing ductwork or set up new exhaust ductwork, with pros/cons for each. We chose to use existing ductwork. Martin worked to ensure the ductwork was properly attached and that any air escapes were sealed, adapting the microwave exhaust to be compatible (complicated further by the slightly larger size of the new microwave. This required opening access from the back through the wall and temporarily removing one kitchen cabinet to gain full access. Martin performed this work quickly and thoroughly, making sure to color and texture-match the paint when repatching the opening made to the back wall. We are very pleased with the end result, a working new microwave with quiet and very effective ventilation. The work was completed mostly same day (with the exception of the wall patch painting, to allow the patch work to fully set overnight). I recommend Martin for his expertise across multiple areas and his focus on high quality work."

"What a worker! Took his time ---- a long time. A really nasty job in bad weather that he stuck with and completed. Perfectly done. Didn't know there were people around who worked this hard anymore"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
