He knew the situation we were in with the Spotted Lantern Flies that were feeding on the Athlantus trees in our yard. Earlier we had the left side hedge partially removed, with a short vinyl fence installed. It was then we discovered that rebar posts had been installed to train the growth of the Hemlock hedge.
