He called within an hour of receiving our request, came the next day to see the work we wanted, and quoted us a fair price. He said that he could start the work the next week, and that it would take 3 days. The weather did not accommodate him, but he came as soon as it was possible. The work took 4 days, because he found carpenter ants and advised that we address the problem before he installed the skirt. We appreciated his candor, found an exterminator, and Evandson came back and finished the job. The work was as professional as Evandson and his coworker. We will have them back to quote our next project."

"I hired Ken of KDS Development for the gut renovation of a duplex: New plaster walls and ceilings, new electricity, new plumbing and heating; replacement of a kitchen, a bathroom and a half-bath; a significant portion of the floor plan was changed with several walls shifted to create new rooms; one external entrance door, stairway and window were relocated. This was a big job that lasted several months. Ken himself did the carpentry, joinery, concrete, and was master contractor for the other specialties. "I contacted 14 contractors over the course of 2 and 1/2 years to replace and paint exterior trim that was causing leaking into our unit and the unit below. No one else would take the job due to the degree of difficulty. They had to do the work on the back of the building using 60 foot ladder and 50 foot on the front of the building in frigid weather during late December and early January. It was not cheap, but reasonable due to the conditions to take on the job. They not only replaced and painted all trim where necessary, but prepped and painted all the trim on the back of the building and some extra on the front at no extra charge. Very pleased."
