"Andrew is the nicest guy and got our large 150+ year old walnut table looking like new in less than a week. Not to mention he was half the cost of the other quotes we got. My wife and I are already talking about other pieces we can have him refinish. 10/10 from us."

"Danny came out same day I contacted him in Rochester hills. He inspected the jobs, about 8, and called me 2 hours later with an itemized quote. He informed me he could start 9 am the next day. He arrived ready, with materials, started long lead jobs first and knocked out mudding ceiling for paint, several gfci plug swaps, tightened railings per code, rerouted bathroom exhausts to a new hole out the side of the house per code, installed gable vent screens, and started replacing a garage side door. He returned the next day, on time, painted the ceiling and installed a plug in garage ceiling for garage door, installed outside gfci (in 10" of snow!), he bought odd plate covers to fit plugs, a lock set for door and other materials. He completed other jobs, tightening sinks for leaks without hesitation. This guy is kind, funny, and his work is top notch. Do yourself a favor and just hire him and let the world get done right, the first time. Thanks Danny! I will be a return customer."

He arrived on time and went right to work fixing the door.a He also installed a vent over my kitchen stove I had sitting there. If you help don't hesitate to call Larry at Done Rite. I've already scheduled my next project. I feel lucky to have found him."

"After a night of heavy rains I woke up to a leak in my den ceiling. My roof is 20 years old and has a very high pitch (12/12 pitch). I didn't know who to call so I queried the Next Door app and found Terry from Dynamic Construction Co. Terry arrived approx 2 hrs later and quoted me a very reasonable price. I was expecting that he was going to try to up sell me a new roof for 20k, but I was pleasantly surprised when he told me my roof was in great shape and that all I needed was a 10.00 rubber boot to replace the deteriorated boot on my bathroom vent. I highly recommend Terry from Dynamic Construction located at 54588 Horizon Dr in Shelby Twp. He was prompt, polite and very reasonable. Thank you Terry for coming out on such short notice!"

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
