"They came out and cleaned our attic from top to bottom. Took out all the old insulation (which no one will do), vacuumed, sanitized, rodent proofed, new insulated ducting, and came back after our AC was installed to blow in insulation. Crew was very professional. We feel we got our money's worth for sure!"

"Tom, the salesman/inspector, was great, showed up promptly to inspect. I received the quote via internet. Somehow the reply/acceptance form didn't interface with my PC. Tom was quick to do a work-around to get things moving. His crew came at the pre-agreed time and explained what they would be doing. They used plastic sheeting to protect carpet, wood floors and walls. They also created an air baffle curtains to prevent cool a/c air within the 2nd story. The back bedroom window was used as access for equipment and insulation, all the area there was covered with plastic sheeting All the insulation, old and new, was taken out and in thru a rear bedroom window, as was the large vacuum hose to vacuum the attic prior to sealing any air gaps. I was shown pictures of attic ~ before, in process and after. I strongly recommend this company. I had quotes above and below the cost and feel the professionalism of the inspector and the installers was top notch."

"I hired Americool to insulate the attic and walls of my exsisting home. Scott's bid for the job came in lower than what other companies wanted for just the attic. He and his crew showed up right on time and took only 6 hours to complete the job. They were pleasant,professional put down plastic to cover my floors for protection and thoroughly cleaned the jobsite when they were finished. Two days later and we already notice a big difference in the balance of temperatures and noise reduction. Great Job!"

"We hired them to replace our Air Ducts and add Air Blown Insulation. We re very happy with the outcome!. They re very reasonable. In summer the house never cooled off under 86 and the a/c never shut off. Our PG&E bills were $600-$800 during summer months and we paid on it all year. The Air Ducts required a lot more work than originally anticipated ( was originally built with several different sizes when it shouldn t have been plus an add on room. They showed us the old stuff they took out and there were holes throughout so most of the cold air was going into attic not house!) They paid special attention to the back part of the house that always is hotter than the rest of the house. Even putting extra thick insulation in that room. I spent the first 3days saying It s set to 74 and it s 74 in the house! It shut off! Highly recommend them if you need work done!"

They provided on the phone estimate while other companies come out and give a 2 hour presentation and ask if "your wife will be home" because they want everyone to be involved in the decision - this is not a decorator item - its insulation! I had my attic and walls blown in and it took 3 guys a complete day to do, and they were all very helpful and pleasant to work with. I also added a ceiling with sound proofing which took a few hours the next day. Everyone was accommodating with my needs. Do not bother with any other company!"
