"SDB was great! Ilai was very communicative with scheduling and any updates. We had a small bathroom project but the team was very eager and professional. They came out, looked, got us a clear and detailed estimate very quickly, and the most important they were conscientious about social distancing. Ilai who managed the project texted us photos and a updated of what was completed. The whole thing was pretty seamless and we'll definitely be looking to use Simple Design & Build for any future project."

"I hired Jorge and his team to paint the interior of my townhouse before listing it for sale. They were always on time and completed the project without any additional fees. Jorge came back to do some touch-ups after the new carpet was installed and I couldn't have been happier. My realtor was very impressed with the quality and outcome. Jorge is very meticulous, great attention to detail, and the painting turned out even better than I expected. I recently had him do some work at my condo where a cabinet was removed in the laundry room as well as repair a crack in the wall. The end result looks amazing. I will definitely contact him for any future work."

You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
