"Got the appointment to measure and price out quickly. They were made and installed super quick. I am very happy with the quality of the product. The tech was extremely nice and professional. My only opportunity feedback would be to be true to appointment times set with customers."

"Would recommend to others and would hire again. There was a slight scheduling problem that prevented the work from being done on the designated day. It was not Nate's fault -- having to do with supplier issues --- but Nate kept me in the loop, rescheduled for the next day and then showed up early. Quality workmanship and materials."

"Desert Fixers did an amazing job putting natural stone on my fireplace. They were professional and easy to work with. Their work is amazing! The specific stone I chose was difficult to work with, but they made It beautiful! They always showed up in time, cleaned everything up before they left, and made sure I was happy with the work! I would definitely recommend them and I will be hiring them again in the future."

"Hired Calderon Homes after another contractor had to cancel due to health reasons and this was his recommendation. Project was a small 350 square foot addition. From design to construction everything went smoothly and any problems or changes were handled promptly (even though some of the problems were of my making) Lazaro and his team were always polite and professional. Everything was done within budget and on time. Lazaro was always available and always returned calls promptly, Contracted with him to remodel the rest of my house."

"I've done well in the past working with small independent businesses with the owner and his reputation providing the service. Jonathan was who I was looking for. His work and knowledge are exceptional. No, upsell, no smoke just honest quality work. I've already recommended him to a friend."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
