"Five plumbing companies provided quotes to replace the main sewer line and install an in-ground clean out at my house. Mr. Rooter's quote was not the least expensive but it was the most reasonable and professional. Every person I dealt with was consultative, courteous and good at what they do. The work started on time and finished in about 4 hours. The only surprise was a good one: the technician discovered a second clean-out needed to be installed at the street end and did that at no additional cost, a good job done right. Everything cleaned-up neatIy afterward including the street. I watched the excavator operator do his thing and was impressed to see surgical precision achieved with heavy equipment and a joystick - from digging the trench in a narrow section next to the house, to filling it back in and then grading it perfectly (it rained heavily about an hour after work finished and all the runoff flowed exactly where it's supposed to go). One week, 14 long showers, 10 giant loads of laundry and countless toilet flushes later, the outflow is working better than it ever did before. "I had Mayco Andrade Plumbing come to my house to give me a free estimate on repairing or replacing my toilets, replacing my kitchen faucet and replacing the pop-up drain in my master bathroom. The plumber Ariel took his time and explained everything to me. He also told me he would recommend me replacing the entire toilet because if you repair it, it could leak. I searched for other plumbers to compare the estimates however, every other plumber I called charged a fee for an estimate. They would wave the fee if I decided to go with that company. I did not want to pay an estimate fee so I called to schedule Mayco Andrade Plumbing. Ariel came back to my house. When he went to shut the water off to replace the kitchen faucet. He noticed I needed new valves. Again he explained what having bad valves meant. I decided to replace the valves and Ariel replaced them first. I was always watching him and asking questions. He always took his time to explain everything to me. I really love my new faucet, toilets, and I'm glad the drain works in my master bathroom."

"Excellent workmanship. They came in and repaired a disaster created by the original contractor that put the laminate flooring in. They had to take up more than half of the entire floor. Their pricing for the job was very reasonable. They came, looked at what had to be done and provided a quote. The first day they reported on time and completed more than half of the project, however, day two they were two hours late and was not responding to phone calls to confirm their arrival time. Day three they were two hours late, but eventually called and gave an arrival time. Overall, because of the excellent workmanship and cleanup, I would recommend this company to others."

"My tech was quick to point out some rather glaring issues that were difficult to rationalize. I immediately recalled a prior summertime repair from a different company whereby my system was deemed to be at the end of its useful life. Two wires (yes two) were found unconnected at the safety pressure switch. A toggle switch on the Trane Gas valve was found in the off position also. This system will go another ten years, I'm convinced of that, but it appears this Vienna, VA outfit felt that they could make the case with dubious business practices."
