"I interviewed three different AC companies and I liked them the most because they told me they would do something different on the intake. I liked everything on the install project. The only negative experience was the fact that when I ask them to teach me how to operate the thermostat they said they could not do that and I had to leave it almost seemed like they were in a rush to get out. In their defense when I called the office they told me the same thing the thermostats are all very different so they can t help every person with operating the thermostat. I only was expecting them to at least tell me something about the thermostat all they did was set it up and left. I would ve liked to be able to give some input on setting up the thermostat which I was not given the opportunity to do so. The AC was installed on May 12, 2020 and the only issue I ve had so far is there s a whistling sound on the intake and I m waiting for them to come back to fix it. I reported this issue on May 13, and I m doing this review on June 8. I haven t heard back from them yet but I told him that that getting this issue fixed is not urgent, but I do want to get to get done soon. Will update this review soon. "

"After paying a whopping $306.00 to recharge 3 lbs and add a detection dye, I was advised a return trip was needed to find out if there is a leak or a defective compressor. After calling the office twice, I finally had a tech follow up 1 week later to advise that there is a leak and that he will notify the office to order a part. Again I had to call the office twice before the tech called me to say the part was NOT ordered and it would take 4 days. This is two weeks later! I decided to call someone else, who did NOT try to sell me a contract and who was able to repair the leak with a seal for only 380, and not the 1,730.00 advised bu A/C. "

We attempt to provide the best service possible. Leaking systmes require searching for the leak and then providing our best recommendations we can offer. I believe the reason the part was not ordered is because we were not given the "go ahead" from the customer to proceed. As far as repairing a leak in a coil.... We do not recommend patching old coils! There are experimental "stop leak products" available but as we all know they dont work too well in the auto industry... Leaks dont get smaller and dont go away magically!

"Our instillation was not typical due to the design of the house. I had probably 10 different A/C companies come and give estimates on the job. A/C & Electric grasped the concept and ideas we where trying to accomplish more than any of the other contractors. The actual instillation was done neatly and with an attention to detail. The price was also one of the best estimates that I received. I would recommend them for A/C work."

"Good presentation. Several very good references called me. BBB A+ rating. Provided insurance and license on request. Installed a top of line Rheem two stage compressor, air handler & thermostat. Also installed whole house surge protector & media air cleaner. All in a timely manner. Scott, the owner, as onsite for start up. They returned the next week, without my prompting, to install UV light & conduct leak test. I interviewed 5 companies for this project. Initially, I was nervous that they did not have experience with the RHeem unit I wanted, however the overwhelming praise of their references won me over. "

Before choosing this company, I interviewed and received estimates from 4 others. A/C & Electric were very thorough in their research of my needs and provided me with multiple options.
