He stripped all the old carpeting and laminate in the kitchen and was able to fix rotten wood and made it look seamless. They even found jewelery from the previous owners hidden behind a loose floorboard and notified us about it so we could give it back to its rightful owner. The interior stairs of my fathers brownstone were carpeted for over 30 years and a previous contractor had removed the carpet without completing the job. Aldo removed the nails and residue carpet material, repaired several treads of the staircase, replaced several spindles, laid vinyl flooring , and painted the risers and spindles. He consulted with me on every decision, colors, materials, and their practicality. The job was completed sooner than he had initially estimated. I will definitely be hiring him again."
