"I called Tad from American Rose Garden last spring to discuss options to bring our lawn back to life as it was not looking the best! Tad arrived on time and was very easy to talk to. He was polite, personable and knowledgeable. He informed us of the pros and cons to option 1) re-seeding the entire lawn and option 2) laying sod. He kindly costed both methods out for us to help in our decision. After some consideration, we decided to have new sod laid and have the instant gratification of a nice lush green lawn. At the same time, we also had Tad and his team clean up the front and back yards, lay down fresh mulch and put in a few new shrubs. Tad’s team were polite and hard-working and they transformed our yard beyond recognition. Tad was rightly concerned with how our new lawn was going to get sufficient and regular watering, particularly with summer around the corner. He recommended getting an automatic timer and advised me about the type of sprinkler to buy and where to place it to ensure that all areas of the lawn would be watered. Tad later came back to install our new timer and help get our watering system set up correctly. Even though this took up most of his morning and involved a trip to the hardware store, he refused payment for this return visit. I was so impressed with this company from start to finish. Tad and his team were wonderful and I would not hesitate to recommend American Rose Garden to anyone looking to rejuvenate their landscaping."

"They cleared/ graded an acre of blackberries and prepped it for seeding as well as removing some dead trees and ,lined a creek with rocks to help with the stability/errosion.(even moved some decorative trees/ helped plant) We had a few hiccups that put us over budget/time (like finding 2 HUGE cut up maples discarded in the bramble! They were near impossible to move or find ways to dispose of and 4-5 more huge stumps that needed removing), but over all, I am very happy with Frank and his crew. Bill (the excavator driver) was very careful, knowing we had unknown piping somewhere below and paid great attention to detail when removing those prickly buggers. The yard turned out beautiful when done. They always ASK FIRST before doing additional work, and give options when trouble arrises. The main reason I highly reccommend this company- HONESTY! They are always up front about cost, happy to share receipts, and as Allan ( a crew member) always says -they feel "Being important is nice, but being nice is more important!" Highly recommend!"

His work was thoughtful, professional and impressive. Within a couple of hours he hauled out tons of yard waste that would have taken me days to clear out and even removed leaves from my garden beds. "Saved the Summer. We had a previous contractor fail to meet responsibilities in a timely manner and called on a number of companies to fix the problems. Edson and Clay were the most courteous, prompt, communicative team that we have ever communicated with with the many contractors in and out of our home in the past year. Clay arrived early for our bid/ estimate and he was very informative of both the process and possible remedies for our issues. We needed a team to complete artificial turf, replant arborvitae privacy trees and add a drip line off the existing plumbing, fix a retaining wall, add a drain pipe, remove unsafe landscape timber stairs and replace with paver steps, fix a fence door that was placed too high, and level a side yard. Not only did they complete the job in six working days, they communicated effectively along the way, presented various options for finishes of both the turf and the pavers, and also sourced replacement emerald green arborvitae that the previous landscaper incorrectly planted, which led to their death, and they planted them in a professional manner. They were respectful of our space and were informative every step of the way. Edson's team was very prompt everyday, courteous, and cleaned up the worksite every evening. Clay was always effective in communication, which seems to be the most challenging part of having contact with any contractor. I absolutely would not hesitate hiring them again and will refer them to all my friends in the area. Thanks again Edson, Clay, and rest of the GrassLand Synthetic Turf Company!
