He and his crew removed the stone dust and replaced it with rich soil. They reseeded the yard and provided me with instructions about how to maintain the seeds so they would germinate. They replaced the bad dyed woodchips with more natural mulch, and they replaced dead plantings with live plantings that were more suited to the site. Overall, they did a great job. I would definitely hire them again for any future landscaping."

"I contacted four landscapers through Angie's List. Two never responded; one got back to me but couldn't do the work for weeks. John's responded quickly, popped by to survey the job (without me even knowing!) and was able to schedule it within the week. Two men came by and worked for three or four hours on the bed. It was too tough for a tiller, so in the end they used an industrial aerator to loosen the dirt/roots, then raked it out. They did a great job, were very careful of the surrounding garden decorations, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. The job came in right on estimate, despite it being harder than they thought."

"Starling and his fabulous company have been our landscapers since the fall of 2023 when our work schedules prevented us from keeping up with our yard work. We came to Angi's List and got call backs from several people, but Starling was the only one who came to the house. We were very pleased with the end result and had him come back for a spring clean up. We then let him take over our lawn care plus help with fixing our front beds that needed some TLC. We highly recommend him, and as a matter of fact his crew were just here yesterday starting the spring clean up.
