"The boys at R Plumber came in on short notice and took care of a messy gas rerouting line I was dealing with. Before others had even responded to my inquiry, these guys were finished with the job. Later on when Best Buy dripped the ball and couldn t install my gas range, the owner of R Plumbing Rene himself came and did it in less than an hours notice. I highly recommend this company and I am glad I hired them. Professional and experienced and great price for the job. G.T."

"They did plumbing services. It was basically the toilet tune-up that they were supposed to do. They fixed it on Friday but on Sunday, it did not work again. Took one more week to get out here and they still have to come back to replace the toilet. At the end of it all, that didn't happen."

"We would like to hire DMV Kitchen & Bath the 3rd time, and remodel our hallway bathroom. However, we were very disappointed to find out they changed their policy later 2015 and only do whole kitchen and whole bathroom. To improve profitability?? Thought there was a grandfather law, since the hallway bathroom was estimated on Spring 2015, and we even had a tentative schedule to get it done between Christmas 2015 to New Year. Very disappointed. Hope they will change policy some day, at least to their old and loyal customers."

"My experience with this company was great. I was able to tell them my issues and they gave me several options. Ultimately we went for the full French Drain system. Everything was done on time and the estimates were very fair. Warranty on the work is great. I would call them again if needed."

"We recently had a major drain line repair and replacement completed by Platinum Plumbing and Drains, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. After two other plumbers failed to follow up or even return calls, Platinum responded promptly and professionally. The job involved diagnosing a serious basement flood, camera inspection, excavation, and replacement of failed Orangeburg pipe. Humberto clearly explained the problem, showed camera images, and outlined repair options without pressure. They used modern pipe-bursting technology to replace the sewer line without trenching the entire yard. Luís and his crew demonstrated outstanding technical skill and attention to detail, carefully ensuring proper grading, bedding, and flow before closing the excavation. They even worked through the weekend to minimize disruption. Communication was excellent throughout, the property was treated with care, and cleanup was impressive for a project of this size."
Schedule a plumbing inspection every one to two years to ensure your system is in good working order. Regular inspections can help you catch minor issues before they become costly problems, like major water damage repairs. You should also consider a plumbing inspection when buying or selling a home or if you notice signs of a plumbing issue. Staying proactive with maintenance can save you money and stress in the long run.
A plumbing inspection for a standard one-story to two-story home takes between two and three hours. For larger residences, historic homes, or rental complexes, a complete inspection requires a full-day commitment of eight hours. However, this does not account for any necessary repairs that your plumber might find, so it’s best to set aside additional time during the inspection in case an unexpected repair comes up.
When built with quality materials, your plumbing system endures for decades. CPVC, brass, iron, and steel provide reliable service for 50 to 70 years, while copper extends durability up to 100 years, and PEX maintains performance for 80 to 100 years. Maintaining this system with regular inspections and prompt repairs guarantees long-term efficiency.
You should repipe your home when your plumbing exceeds its expected lifespan or uses hazardous materials like lead, polybutylene, or galvanized steel. Persistent leaks, corrosion, and compromised water quality signal that your existing piping no longer meets safety standards. Repiping eliminates potential health risks and prevents extensive water damage.
