He was very competitive and he included a small amount of gutter that was required. In addition, some of the roof had shakes underneath the old asphalt shingles and his pricing on adding sheathing was also competitive. I would highly recommend MG Construction out of Albany NY for your roofing needs. Outstanding young man that knows roofing and uses top quality materials. Owens Corning Trudefinition Architectual shingles, six foot ice shield, 5 inch drip edge and synthetic underlayment. The same as all other major competitors quoted. Their bid came in mid range- the big companies were higher, one man shops were lower- but Paul was convincing in his knowledge of the work needed and was candid on the discussion of challenges of the job and the difficulty in getting supplies and materials due to supply chain issues with the pandemic. I would say we got a high value of work for the price bid. Very trustworthy and very smart. When the supplies came in he project managed this work perfectly, came up with the right contingency plans when my 1840’s house presented unexpected problems and delivered the finished job- New Siding and windows and a rebuilt rear wall of windows- on budget and on time. His workers were polite, professional and knowledgeable. I can’t speak highly enough of how pleased I was with the work. They really did a spectacular job. I highly recommend them."
