Shrub Trimming or Removal Service
Hired AC Lawns for sod installation. Very pricey/over priced. Mediocre job with unfinished areas and gaps in sod. Missed first appointment, no text or call to say that they would not be there. Damage to existing landscape. Use AC Lawn again? - no.

Victor was very helpful in plant selection and job was done on a timely basis. Very nice and healthy plants. I did have to follow up with moving mulch piled against the house and dirt in driveway and sidewalk.

Victor and team did a wonderful job with the new lawn - from killing the old, to getting proper surveys, to removal and installing the new sod. It was all well managed. Communication was a bit sparse for my liking (personal preference is to know what/when all the time), but Victor did get in touch when necessary. Having a PayPal option was perfect for me. For a new lawn, you need to get AC Lawn Services.

The price was good but I am not happy with half the sod installation. There was no soil prep on half the job (when I wasn't there to watch). I called Victor back when I noticed old grass under the sod. I thought it was just the edge of the area resodded. He gave excuses but spent an hour fixing the areas I pointed out. After a few months, it is obvious the areas that were prepped, and those that were not. The sod roots aren't taking well in areas that weren't prepped and the sod is doing badly. I live in a gated community where brown sod is not tolerated. And no, it is not an irrigation problem. I have babied the sod, following Victor's recommendations for irrigation to the letter. My water bill has been over $300. And by the way - a neighbor asked Victor to do some work (not through HomeAdvisor) when he saw him working on my yard - was also disappointed.

"This homeowner did his own irrigation my recommendation was for me to do his irrigation . ( I wouldn't install windows in my house if I don't know what I was doing) . He's also mentioning that his irrigation bill was $300 you should expect to pay higher water bill if you Want a nice lawn. But most importantly about both of these homeowners when asked either of them if they had a fertilizing company? Answer was NO. they both are DIY which is fine if you know what you're doing."

Victor and his team are in the middle of installing a sprinkler system and sod in my back yard. -- The sprinkler system has already been installed. -- Victor and his team are very courteous and responsive. -- He has been a joy to work with. I'll update the review once the sod is down, but he and his team are terrific. -- I highly recommend using AC Lawn Services.

I needed a clean up. /Victor told me he would "think about it" and let me know. To my surprise he called to say he could for $350. Work was OK, (I had to point out several areas they missed, did terrible job of trimming 2 evergreens). He was to come back in 2 weeks on 9/16 and every 2 weeks after. I wrote this down and handed him the piece of paper. He was a NO SHOW and I have not heard a word from him since. He refused a check made out to AC Lawn Services, & wanted one made out to only him so he could "pay the other guy". Assume this did not get reported into the business coffers.

"I take customer satisfaction seriously as evidenced by my other ratings. It was difficult to come to agreement as to what this consumer wanted. I did attempt to address this consumer's concerns however was continuously placed in a "wait and see" position. Communication was difficult to establish with this consumer to determine the services requested that I would be able to provide. We were never able to come to agreement. The services I was able to provide were satisfactory at the he time and this consumer paid for them as well. The check was made out to me personally to provide payment for dock fees regarding clean up disposal."

Victor and father Alfonso (and crew)'did a great job. It is refreshing to have a company deliver what was committed. It is also refreshing to have a company provide recommendations not for the sale, but to help me avoid rework and cost in the future. Due to late cancellation by another customer, we were able to work out a deal to use what would have been a loss to AC, to fill other gaps I had...at half the cost..a win/win for both of us...I will highly recommend this company...

Victor was very professional. He actually came on Sunday to put in a new sprinkler box as he was leaving for vacation and wanted to make sure the job was completed before he left. I was very pleased with his service.

We live in Delaware, the sod was being installed at our Florida rental. Victor was very good contacting us before and after every step he took in installing the sod. I would definately recommend their services.

Victor was fantastic, professional and above and beyond my expectations. After installation, he double checked our sprinkler coverage and then advised my husband on what to do to make our sprinklers more effective at covering the lawn area!
