The only complaints I have was the fact that they left a mess {which he did apoligize for} and the fact that I was quoted one price and once the job location was seen the price went up $250.00. Granted it was in a difficult position,but it is not entirely fair that I had to pay that extra money for their employees mistake{I was quoted that price over the phone}. Inital phone quote $480.00,then it increased to $730.00

They were wonderful! Even though it was very hot outside and they must have had many other calls they were quick to send some one out. They called me in the morning to verify my appt and then called me again when the repairman was just one appointment from mine. Then he called to tell me he was on his way which was within the time window I had been given. He thought he had found the problem and called two hours later to see if I my place had cooled down. Sadly, it had not. I wasn't surprised that it wasn't going to be an easy repair. I have had this ongoing problem for two summers now and no one had been able to figure it out. Advanced then quickly sent out a trouble-shooter, Glen, who was able to give me options for repair/replacementafter discovering the problem. I purchased a service plan and will have Advanced maintain my heater as well. I am the president of my condo association and will recommend Advanced to my neighbors. It is nice to have found a professional group that remembers that we are the customers.

Got good info to share with other condo members. I haved not hired anyone yet, but am inclined to do bus with Advanced Comfort. As a result, our current contractor has also come up with more competitive offerings.

First, Advanced Comfort mis-diagnosed the issue. Advanced replaced a direct vent water heater with a standard water heater. Per conversations with other vendors, our setup was relatively rare, so the incorrect diagnosis may not reflect negatively on Advance's overall ability. Nevertheless, this error cost my family two weeks of hot water. In the second week, Advance called back indicating that they had the part required to solve the issue, and volunteered to resolve it at a discount. For logistical reasons we had not been able to fix the problem, and we took Advanced up on that offer. We were very happy with the work that Advanced did at that point. I would be willing to talk further about the initial experience with someone at ServiceMagic and I intend to do so with Advanced--the initial experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth because not only was the issue mis-diagnosed, but I cannot believe that at some point someone didn't identify that there wasn't a problem with the install--the heater did not work properly! Is there an ethical implication there? However, ultimately Advanced did solve the problem and did communicate effectively with me in doing so. Thanks
