Aguilar Sprinkler Repair - Unlicensed Contractor

Roland Aguilar...nice guy at first then after, it was harder and harder to get a hold of him. We have a small section dead and according to warranty he should replace them but it has been a couple of months and have not seen him. Plus my sprinkler system just stopped working.

Aguilar landscape did a great job installing my Bermuda sod. They were on time and got the job done with in 4 hours.

landscape front yard.including 4 new sprinkler valves,new sprinkler system and sod, also install pre bought rocks for front median strip cost $2800...here are the problem that didn;t get corrected. i pressured check 4 old valves, no leaks prior to work being done. they crossed threaded drip system valve. couldn't fix so closed it off.. ,so no drip system.. #4 valve. (not in use, runs under driveway).they tried to replace old valve and couldn't put new valve on..broke old valve reinstalling.and caused a leak under driveway..said they couldn't fix it and let it leak..I removed old valve and disassembled.. repaired there mistake, reinstalled and fixed the leak..sod and rock install came out good. had to come back to replace some sprinkler heads for complete coverage.. i can not recommend rolando aguilar landscaping as they can not fix their mistakes

We were very pleased with the professionalism of Rolando for the estimate and the installation of the sod. After the installation we have had great difficulty with the follow-up of his promise to set timers /change sprinkler heads. I am unable to reach him by voicemail or by email and regret as a result that I am not able to give him a better review.

Aguilar and Rolando went out of their way to do more than just an excellent job but to satisfy every issue that came up during the process. The crew was courteous … clean… and very efficient . If you want a first class job that will last these are the people to hire. Very happy I picked them!

Very disappointed. Overcharged me for 2 different types of sod, one was supposed to be slow growing. It grows faster than normal grass. The other section they did was not properly prepared. 3 other companies have told me they did not dig deep enough to remove the weeds (which they were paid for), so the only option is to pull up the sod and do it correctly. They were also hired for regular maintenance (before I realized all the issues). They showed up once. The second time they were supposed to come on a Monday, no show, no call. After speaking to the owner he said they would be out 4 days later on Friday. I hired someone else at that point. Basically, I paid $1700 to have a tree installed, because the rest of the work will have to be re-done correctly. Edited 10/16 after one day of light rain the tree is coming down because it was not planted deep enough. So I paid $1,700 for nothing. All of their work has been, or will have to be, re-done by a professional.

I rarely give 5 star ratings but Aguilar Landscaping really do deserve a top score. The management (Rolando) and workers went above and beyond to make me a very happy customer! They worked efficiently and in just 3 days I now have a new sprinkler system and sod laid, which is beautiful. I look forward to their maintenance work. I had 4 different quotes and so glad I went with Aguilar Landscaping. Very reasonably priced for an excellent job. Corrine E.

Sometimes difficult to connect with Rolando but, when we did communicate, he was very accommodating. I felt he was honest and knowledgeable.

Rolando and his crew were amazing! Upbeat, courteous, hard workers, very professional. They will be my long term crew for all my yard and garden needs from now on. Excellent! And, no, I don't know them personally. The first time I met them was when they came, on time, to do the job.

Rolando called me within ten minutes of posting my job request.He was able to stop by later in the day to give me a bid and answer any questions I had. He was prompt and professional and was able to schedule the job for the next day. Rolando and his crew installed 37 sprinklers and 2 controllers. They also removed tons of succulents and cleaned up everything before they left. They were able to change my backyard from a jungle to a serene sanctuary.
