Aspen Landscaping

They did a complete landscaping job. It was good for a couple of years. I could not check on the work they were doing due to being in the hospital. I am now finding out the hard way that they used thin wall pvc pipes for the entire sprinkler system. I've already had 3 underground pipes break. When you think your lawn is being watered because you spent over $65,000 on landscaping, it's a real shock when you get a water bill that's over $1300. After investigating what could cause this I found that Aspen Landscaping had used thin wall pvc, which is not very strong in the first place, add to that the pressure of being underground and ground shifting thin wall pvc will break easily. Thin wall pvc pipe should never be used underground, for anything. The bad thing is, is I can't be sure if there could be smaller breaks/leaks that don't cause water to gush out from the ground like the 3 breaks that have already happened. Now I don't use the sprinkler system for fear of bigger water bills.

Very poor service.

Our backyard was filled with foxtails, stickers, and other dry brush. I had a hard time articulating what I wanted, but Jim helped me work through the idea phase. Once he knew what I wanted, he drew up a sketch. We signed the contract, and his guys went to work that week. They installed a flagstone patio & pathway, raised garden beds, decomposed granite, 10 trees, a variety of shrubs and plants, a grass area, a drain system, a fountain, lighting/electrical, and irrigation. I knew what trees I wanted going into the project, but let Jim decide on the plants. He knows we have two dogs, and that we wanted something relatively low maintenance, so he picked plants that would look nice, that are hardy, and would grow into the space with minimal maintenance. I absolutely love the plants he picked, and their arrangement. Jim definitely has an eye for aesthetics, and functionality. Jim's crew showed up every day until the job was done, and worked like a well oiled machine. My husband and I are beyond happy with the results, it is everything we wanted, and more. We highly recommend Aspen Landscaping.

Jim and his crew are great. We had many projects that they worked on and did an excellent job. They installed cyclone fencing into a concrete mow strip which they poured along with more concrete to extend the back yard patio area. The land is not level, so they poured short steps to make it work correctly. They installed an aluminum overhang, put in a sprinkler system and seeded the lawn. They also installed a custom gate with an automatic opener. Additionally, they put down some crushed gravel and pounded it down for easy access to the well house. These guys do it all--and more! Hired Aspen Landscaping to address a significant drainage problem that my initial contractor would not come out to fix. After Ace Landscaping stopped returning my calls, I contacted Aspen Landscaping to finish my project. Jim and his crew diagnosed my drainage problem and came up with a comprehensive solution. It definitely cost more than I wanted, but the work was top notch. I highly recommend this company.

I cannot thank Jim and his guys enough for how awesome my backyard looks. I wasn't sure what I wanted done back there, but knew that I didn't like what I had... I had a few ideas that I tossed to Jim, and then he took those ideas and after looking at my backyard worked on different ideas that would work with my space that I got to choose from. I am so happy with everything! Jim was always on time when he made appointments with me which is hard to find someone like that now a days. His crew was great, worked so hard and made everything look wonderful. And his prices were competitive and reasonable. Thanks again guys!

finished the job in 1 day. My wife wanted a different tree after it was already planted and he agreed to change it to the one my wife wanted. Super nice guy

A little pricey, however, their work is great. I would use them again no question. I think the quality of what they do supersedes little extra money.

Mine was a small job. I wanted ivy removed and replaced with rock. The work was done in one day and they did an excellent job cleaning up the work area.

The original estimate was not accurate and the final cost was much higher. The quality of the work, however was very good.

We had a small lawn/garden area adjacent to our patio that needed to be redesigned to compliment our existing landscape, but most importantly make it easier for our lawn service to maintain. Jim Lubell, Aspen Landscape was our perfect answer. Looks lovely now as though it was part of the original plan. We're happy. We'd higher Aspen for a big job if we had one after seeing how nice our little one looks.

I recently had by backyard landscaped by Aspen. They were very professional and helpful through the whole process. They poured a concrete patio and installed a sprinkler system and ~1200sqft of sod for me. Hector and his crew did an excellent job, the work was done quickly and professionally and looks great!

This company does a great job. They did my front lawn in only one day and they installed a very excellent sprinkler system, and even taught me how to use it. They are very professional and communicative. I would not hesitate to recommend them. They explained everything about the new lawn, how to care for it, and when to mow it. I was so happy I asked them for a quote to fix my backyard, too! I am so glad I hired them!

Professional, prompt, quick. Aspen Landscaping did an absolutely fabulous job. Easy to work with, reasonably priced, great crew. I can't say enough good about this company. They completely redid my lawn, installed sprinklers for lawn and garden and a drip system for my potted plants. This is the company you want to do business with.
