The project took longer than expected, there were some miscommunication issues, I would recommend.

We hired them to excavate and create a concrete patio under our deck. We worked with Rene on the planning process. He was on time for appointments, very knowledgeable and came prepared with photos of their work from other jobs. He provided the quote quickly and was prompt in answering additional questions. The crew was great and in constant communication with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The patio looks great and we will definitely work with B&R Concrete on any future concrete projects.

B&R Concrete did a great job on our backyard stamped concrete patio. Rene was knowledgeable and responsive throughout the planning process, which I appreciate. The crew was friendly and accommodated a couple on-site requests, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of the day. I would recommend them and will likely use for a future project as well.

I hired B&R Concrete to do a 100,000-dollar driveway with stamped concrete in two different colors - grey and a tannish light color. I signed a contract with them and made them the first three of 6 payments immediately when due. The work was going well for the first few days until it was not. When the power washed to get ready for sealing we noticed that a giant portion of the concrete had what appeared to be a color mismatch. Plus, there was a giant divide running through the section, the result of the concrete being poured into batches that were too far apart resulting in the first batch having solidified. I could have asked them to rip the entire section out, but I tried being reasonable and agreed to put a sort of pattern which would eliminate the giant divide. I asked them about the color mismatch and they assured me they would take care of it. Then this morning the guy shows up and asks me to pay him installments 4 and 5. I refused. I said I have concerns about the color and the section they are having to redo. I also noticed some cracks. I told him that if he could do a quick sample and show me that he would be able to fix the color issue with the sealer and dye or whatever I would pay him immediately. He told me that his bosses believed I would not pay. I asked him why - I had given him no reason to believe I would not pay, and he had a signed contract. They thought I would not pay indicated to me that they believed there might be a problem they were not going to be able to fix and that is why they were insisting on payment so they could cut their losses. At that point, he left and texted me to let me know that once the company decided on whether they would continue or not he would let me know. Also, they have a foreman who believes he walks on water. He is rude and discourteous. My neighbor, an older Italian gentleman, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, threatened to call the police on them. If this company chooses to continue and finishes the work to the quality they promised, I have every intention of paying them the full amount of the contract, even even though we have had to make less than optimal changes to our driveway design. And I will update this review to reflect reality. But as things stand, I would caution every person considering using this company to THINK TWICE. They are not cheap, but I thought they were a good company to work with based on the pictures and reviews. But given the problems I have had and their seeming attitude to just try and cut their losses and get out when they screwed up - that should tell you everything you need to know about this company. Great companies are defined not by the work they do - but by how they manage screw-ups - which as we all know always happen because we are all human. I never asked them for a discount, I even offered to help them with money if needed because I did not want them to lose the shirt on their backs and I wanted to be sure the hardworking folks on their team got paid. Excellent communication and delivered a quality finished project! Work performed when our yard was damp from recent rains but left minimal disturbance when complete.

B & R Concrete Masonry installed a stamped concrete patio in my backyard, with curved sitting walls, and a sidewalk. The results are beautiful! Rene was a superb project manager from start to finish, the work crew showed up and worked hard every day of the project, and from the quality of the work, you know these guys are professionals. The work in the seating walls was especially beautiful. 5 stars!

My entire experience was B & R Concrete Masonry was excellent from the initial interview to the finished concrete patio installation. The B & R representative was very thorough in explaining the entire process from start to finish. He explained in detail the type of concrete being used, the materials used to install the concrete and the amount of time to complete the job. The finished product was awesome! The concrete workers did an outstanding job installing my concrete patio as one of the best jobs I have ever seen. I would highly recommend B & R Concrete Masonry for any concrete or masonry job. B&R concrete did my neighbors driveway, it looked beautiful so I decided to get a quote on them. We decided to get a stamped concrete driveway and it came out amazing, my wife and I are very happy! They offered numerous design selections and they are very helpful for beginning homeowners that have just started doing renovation. I rate this company a superb 5/5 for their professionalism, craftsmanship, and easy communication.

This is an initial review based on an incomplete job done by the service provider. I hired B and R Concrete Masonry based on the information provided on the website and the terms of the contract. Either they did not understand their own contract or they wanted you to compromise on the quality. The very first day, the two workers came in the afternoon and did not complete the demolition and removal of debris, leaving part of the stairs in place. Shortly after 2:30 PM, I called Rene Flores about the incomplete demolition and he directed his crew to complete the demolition and then install the shuttering for concrete (the concrete truck was already at the site). By the time they finished demolition and removal of the debris (they left most of the debris in place), and installation of shutters, and filling up the space with brickbats, the concrete truck had left the site as it was too late to pour concrete. I am not sure if it makes professional sense to fill the space within the staircase shuttering with brickbats that were previously removed during the demolition. It seems they were using brickbats as fillers and pouring the concrete over them. I am not sure this is a correct method as it might not be stable enough for the stairs built on top, and needs to be validated by a professional engineer. B and R Concrete Masonry is blaming me for delaying them while the delay was because the workers showed up late, did not complete the demolition and shuttering in time for the concrete, obviously were unable to anticipate the time it would take for them to do the demolition and put up the shuttering.

Scope - The project consisted in replacing the siding in the front of my house with brick. It was a big project, The Process - I interviewed several companies for this project, and I decided to hire B&R for the job because the project manager showed professionalism, and demonstrated knowledge and previous experience working in big projects (he sent me pictures of previous work done by the company). The project manager was very helpful since the inception of the project. He listened to what I needed as a customer; including the selection of materials, the design of the border of the windows and garage door, and always answered all the questions that I had throughout the duration of the project. I'm also satisfied with the results because my house did not have house wrapping underneath the siding, and I wouldn't have known this or this could have gone undetected; but B&R did a great job job and corrected this by installing flashing and Tyvek in the front part of the house (underneath the brick). Results - Overall, B&R did a great job. House looks beautiful. The quality of the work is excellent. B&R did an amazing job and I'm very happy and thankful with the results.

The residential manager Rene Flores overseeing this project was EXCELLENT to work with. I can't say enough good things about him and the way B & R Concrete Masonry handled the project from start to finish. They installed a brick walkway and a 17 by 20 foot brick patio with retaining wall. Both the walkway and patio were set with a concrete base. It is so well constructed and the brick workmanship was excellent. It was in a herringbone pattern which required many cuts of triangles. The project started and ended on time - all completed within 10 days! All the workers were friendly and professional and worked long hour to finish on time. I would highly recommend this company for any brick or concrete projects.

B&R installed a concrete patio and a flagstone retaining wall with a firepit, all the work exceeded our expectations and the supervisors were really easy to work with! I would definitely recommend this company and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

B&R was fantastic from start to finish. Our old front stoop was cracked and needed repair or replacement. B&R came out to estimate and talked me through all my options. We decided to replace it. B&R gave us a good estimate and we booked them The crew showed up 2 days later and performed demo, forming, and pouring all in one day. They came out the second day to finish after curing. It. Looks. Awesome. They were professional at every step. The crew was wonderful. I like the way they do business. You till too.

Very accommodating to my needs such as scheduling and quick responses to address minor touch-ups prior to final walk-thru.

They removed a settled part of my front walkway and poured a new level walkway, installed a stamped patio and surrounded the patio with stone walls in my backyardâ ¦ if I could post pictures I would. The service, attention to detail, craftsmanship and pride in their work was obvious through the entire project. Highly recommended.
