Pulled permit with city but didn't schedule final in timely fashion. Permit expired.

Econo Air installed the system in a timely manner.

I liked that the companies listed were of 2 types, smaller independent and bigger outfits. It gave me the opportunity to compare and it was a real eye opener. The smaller companies didn't go into much detail of what was needed with 1 being very pathetic. It was the cheapest bid but I didn't feel confident that they would do the job right. One of the bigger outfits gave very polished presentation but I felt it was a bit "slick". These 3 basically told me what equipment I would need. The firm I went with, EconoAir, went into greater detail telling me what the house would need to make it as efficient as possible. I felt that the estimator knew what he was talking about and I felt he had my best interest in mind.

Salesman Mark was very professional and corteous. Their estimate was the lowest with the most options. The job (new AC installation in existing ductwork) was done as promised in a day, with almost no problems. The crew forman was very attentive and answered my numerous questions.

I did my research and after comparing the brands - Lennox was the quietest system on the market. I only had to find the right Installer and I did with EconoAir. The crew respected my home and were done in one day. I had a 1928 home that was not

There were a few small problems that were eventually taken care of (i.e. installing the wrong heater, setting up the inspection for the permitted job, and getting a job invoice so I can get rebates from the DWP and the Gas Company. On all of these occaisions I have had to make more than 1 call to get any response... it should not be my job to force a response from the contractor they should follow up after my initial contact. To this day 3/9/2004 I have still not had my inspection and have no received the invoices for the equipment installed oe work performed so I can submit for rebates (which were a big factoer in my decision to do the work). Otherwise their crews were very courteous and did a good job and i feel that I received a good value (although if saving some on the price is an indication of the service of I have received thus far and may receive in the future) I would have gladly paid more.

Mark from EconoAir was very professional and provided me with all the verbal and written materials so I (a women) could make an informed decision. The crew was great and true to their word, they were finished by the end of the day. No mess left behind. I only hope my other home improvements go as well.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HOW THE JOB WAS EXPEDITED. IT WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND VERY COURTEOUS WORKERS. MR. RICHARDS, THE OWNER, CAME BY TO BE SURE THE INSTALLATION WAS BEING DONE PROPERLY.

The installation was performed in a timely manner and fairly neat. The complete system is of a great value in comparing with other estimates that I received. Everything was good with the exception that this contactor has not yet applied/obtained a permit as specified in the contract. I'll need to call him again.

They did a great job and were finished before they said they would be. Showed up right in time. Work looks good and was explained thoroughly. Very happy with the job.
