This review has ½ star, because the system doesnâ t allow zero stars. Iâ m adding another complaint to the list: We were referred to Home Repair after several family members had great experiences. It seems like they are â storm damage chasersâ and since our area was hit with some heavy hail years back, I think they approached home owners to try to draw up business in the area. We started the process in Sept or Oct of 2019. Had the same experience as othersâ ¦no cost inspection for hail damage. Home Repair found it, fought with the insurance to get money to replace our roof, siding, and rain gutters. There was a delay from our insurance, and then COVID happened, but in feb 2022, we finally signed the contract with Home Repair, gave them ½ of your insurance money and about 1k down payment out of pocket for our deductible. We got intermittent email & phone updates from Home Repair stating they ran into delays due to supply chain shortages/staffing issues. In Nov 2023, Jessica Burns emailed and stated that if we financed with their supplier(Kohls Building Products), our project could start in as little as 2 weeks. I replied that they already had ½ of our insurance and our deductible and that I would not finance with them. And, that is the last correspondence I have gotten. I have repeatedly emailed since then for an update with no response. This whole process has been almost 5 years now. Will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General.

we hired them, things went wrong, repairs failed, getting worse.... Tried numerous times to contact them and nothing . Our lawyer didnâ t even get a response. So I began to write a complaint to the Attorney General and before I started i thought , i wonder if they are still in business. Web site down. No one at phone center... Once again it seems we've been taken advantage of. Enough has been mentioned for you to run from these people so i just wanted another complaint to be added to the total .

Hired Home Repair LLC in February 2003 to do garage roof and siding on my home. Today April 2004 the job was never completed. The owner Tony Silva also know as James Silva took off.. Noone can contact him. He took off with all my insurance money he received, $12.880. This and many other people. He embezzled all this money. He left all employees not knowing what was going on. Owning them over $400,000. All the company vans were take . Needless to say my home was never done.

In the spring of 2023 I was contacted by Home Repair LLC to do a no cost inspection for hail damage. They found hail damage and went through the insurance process and got the money from my insurance to replace the roof. We signed the contract in August 2023 and they promised 14-18 weeks to have the roof replaced. Everything was fine until they got my money. After that, they assigned a person named Jessica Burns as representative to keep us informed of the progress and all. They told that if something happens in the meantime, they will come immediately and put a tarp on the roof to protect temporarily. Few weeks later, a leak developed. I called and left message. No response, no call back. I had to go up on the roof myself to patch the leak. They did not keep me up to date of the progress, and their communication, is only that they do not know when it is going to be done. At one point they offered me to do the job in two weeks if I finance the job through them, however they already have the my money for the job, siting in their bank and collecting interest (I guess they copied the wrong text into the email they sent to me) . When winter came, of course they do not work. Now, end of March 2024, the weather is OK I asked for a schedule and asked for the names of the schedule team and the names of the team who will do the the work. No information was provided. I checked them on BBB and here and discovered that this how they operate. Take money from people and, delay, delay or refuse to do the work. I just sent an email asking for my money back. Probably I will not hear from them again. They do not answer phones ever. My mistake is that I should have verified them before. All you out there who need a roof, be smarter than me, DO NOT HIRE HOME REPAIR LLC. for anything. They are crooked.

In July of 2022, contact was made with Home Repair to have a new roof installed on my house after a hailstorm. Throughout that summer, they were mostly attentive to communications and appeared to be professional. In September of 2022, Home Repair required a deposit in order to enter my home into production. In November of 2022, my damaged roof started leaking into my home; I expressed my concern and was told â we will absolutely be able to mitigate the damages by providing you with a tarping serviceâ , which Ronny did at that time. In December of 2022, we signed a Service Agreement Production Document; I was told that services were estimated to be completed in about 12 - 16 weeks. Since signing that agreement, it has been a full year and absolutely no work has been completed. Multiple excuses have been made as to why production keeps getting pushed. I have expressed concern since my roof started leaking again and no movement has been made. I have been more than understanding and my willingness to be agreeable to these delays has been abused. I began to express my frustration in July of 2023. In August of 2023, I was told that I could â get the depreciation released early and move your (my) home into a 4 week timeline.â Those funds were released to me in September of 2023 and still, no work has been completed. In November of 2023, I had had enough and have been forced to move forward with a reputable and professional company instead. I have yet to have my deposit returned to me despite demanding it back in full on multiple occasions. Home Repairâ s failure to complete the work as promised within a timely manner breached our contract. Additionally, due to their negligence to not only complete my home project but to repair my leaking roof as promised, there is now internal damage to my home that they refuse to acknowledge.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! We've been dealing with this company for almost two years trying to get our roof replaced and they just disappear. Our "installation coordinator" still cannot give us an installation date, because "they are so backed up." We have gotten zero responses from anyone we escalate to in the company and six people we were dealing with magically disappeared (3 medical leaves, 2 cell phone changes and one person who just doesn't reply). They've had our insurance money just sitting and earning interest, but will not answer or emails or give us any update on the prohect. We are now escalating to a lawyer as this is illegal and unjust. DO NOT SELL SERVICES YOU CANNOT PROVIDE!!

Do not ever use this company. They promised to do the work for over two years, had their project manager Brian Bozilesky threaten me. Stole 5000 dollars blocked my phone number and will not reply. They are a scam and use every excuse not to do the work or refund me. I have to to file in civil court. STAY AWAY from this company!!! Their contractor name is Kevin sxxxxxxi from exxxxxx if anyone else has their money stolen!

This company has been a nightmare to work with. They fought our insurance company and was able to get our insurance to pay for a new roof and that was in May 2021. I am still waiting. Numerous excuses every time the projected date would come up they would come up with a new excuse and push the project date. This has happen at least 6 times. We had to get the attorney general involved and still are waiting. We are most likely going to have to find a lawyer and file a civil lawsuit. This company is the worst.

BEWARE! Absolutely horrible company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! The communication from this company is laughable itâ s almost impossible to actually reach someone and when you do get ahold of them they wonâ t have answers to your questions and theyâ re extremely rude (Roxanne, Jessica, Charlene, etc.) the only times we got fast responses from them is when we called and told them we were going to pay, when we called with just basic questions they would take over a week to get back to us if at all. They were 6 months behind from their original projected completion date on our roof, they would give vague, nothing excuses on why it wasnâ t done but as soon as we offered to pay in full they magically had a window of time to complete our roof. There are many people with the same story and are perusing legal action because of the exuberant amount of time it is taking to get their projects done. Home repair is a very shady company and I would strongly advise to stay away from them!

It is been close to a year and this company has yet to complete my roofing project. They took the insurance money and, as of today, still have not done the work. They hardly communicate and when they do it is always an excuse as to why this work can not be done. . Sad to say, I believe this company took advantage of my elderly parents and me. I also question all the so called positive reviews on his site.

Honestly, I do not know how to rate this company. 20 weeks ( 6/9/22) ago I gave them a deposit and still no installation. Not sure what to do they are still holding $5,000 that was to be used for material and my driveway is empty.

Eddie was very knowledgeable about what to look for and had several recommendations for repair. Customer service was excellent.

This company was amazing came right out to look at my house within 3 days they fixed my siding problem caused by the wind, everyone I talked with was very professional and courteous I would strongly recommend them

My experience was amazing! Home Repair helped me from start to finish. Bobby was my inspector and he helped so much with the insurance process. I canâ  t tell you how much I appreciate all they did. I will be calling on them for all my future Home Repair needs!
