Concrete Driveway Co.

The estimate was far below actual cost, They could not make it on the provided dates, and had to delay a month. When they finally did show, Alex, said some derogatory and perverted things to our neighbor and her young daughter. The job took much longer than estimated, and after one month it is already crumbling. I am reporting them to the BBB as well.

This is a Warning to anyone thinking about using concrete driveway co I am in the middle Tennessee area are used Madewell concrete before Madewell concrete has turned into concrete driveway co I had good success with previous work performed by Madewell, so I had a contract with concrete driveway co. Concrete driveway co used a subcontractor locally to middle Tennessee to start the job and made a mess in my backyard. Left a large pile of debris then called to let me know that they under bid the job and they will not be finishing. They took half of the agreed upon amount as a down payment they still have not returned, when you try to call the company, they do not answer the phone and they do not call you back if you use this company and you were done wrong. It is completely on you after reading this.

I could not have asked for a nicer person to quote the job. Andrew was informative and took time to explain the job. While the job was being done, it was wet after a rain and to put in the patio, both my side yard as well as my neighbors became a muddy mess. We were told that the company would make it right, however, we haven't heard from them so I will be required to pay $3000 to repair the damage. I never understood why they needed to wreck my neighbor's yard, but they no longer speak to me. Most of the job is beautiful, however where the lines joined, it was really messy. I asked if there was anything I could do to remediate the problem and have received no response. If you can imagine a Y or an X and the area where it joins is a mess.

They were quick to respond for sales but now that I am having an issue over a year later with the job completed and no one is responding to solve the issue it makes it a problem

I have had two issues with the patio Madewell pout at my house 2 years ago. A ponding issue appeared immediately after the first rain after several back-and-forth discussions with Madewell Management I agreed to a financial settlement for this issue. Now, 2 years later one section of the patio is cracked from top to bottom and is sinking. The Production Manager from Madewell came out to look at the issue and approved the repair in an email to me. A month later I called to follow up on the repair which was forwarded to another Production Manager in NC and submitted the claim to him with the email from Madewell approving the repair. The NC Production Manager then rejected the claim. After having to make numerous phone calls to track this guy down he finally said Madewell would repair the patio in Sept. Now that guy will not respond to me. When calling the NC phone # of the Production Manager it appears the company has a new name. This company seems to be a scam in that they come into a new area and do shoddy work and collect payment and then change their name.

Driveway look amazing

Madewell is great in person. They will tell you anything you want to hear, but they do not execute. I had a driveway and walkway replaced. The job took three days to finish (not the one they promised), and once complete there were several issues including a loose handrail, cracks that appeared within 5 days due to conduit (that was not part of the job) being installed incorrectly, chipping in several places, and concrete left in my yard and in the road in front of my house. Madewell has stated several times they will fix the issues, but have not showed up when they were scheduled. There are a lot of options in the Nashville area for concrete. Choose any but Madewell.

They poured my driveway 4 time and this was still measured wrong. One time the guy watching over the project need to used my measuring tape for me to show him it was wrong still. They use local numbers to make people think they are local but the 2 people I dealt with were from Charlotte and Atlanta. When I ask if they are gonna adjust the price at all because of the hassle they said they spent too much money already to fix their mistakes. Just crazy 4 time, 4 weeks parking on the street with 2 kids, and 5 months of fighting to get this right. If you want this to happen to you I would pick madewell concrete. They do not care as long as they get there money. If you want to know my driveway is still measured wrong and no one cares.

Hired them to pour a 2800 SF parking area at our house, the trucks showed up 2 hours apart, so i have cold joints in my pad. I am thankful they had a great crew who did a great job blending, but you can still see the joints from each pur. My "dedicated" project manager was running between 2 jobs and failed to make sure the trucks were lined up to do a continous pour. I was told the big BOSS was going to see about a credit from the ready mix company, so far i have never heard a another word from anyone. So it seems once they get their money they have no more concerns. We will be doing the rest of the driveway this year, but i will NOT be using Madewell for that project.

Finish work was very good on slab. Need to make certain everyone involved in project fully understand what is to be done from estimator, project manager, work crew supervisor, etc. so no surprises or need to revise plan.

Great customer service experience. The work was done exactly to my specification and the company was flexible as revisions came up throughout the process

Timely service

Seth did an outstanding job answering my questions and provided updates as to the progress of the job. The crew is very talented in their skill set and I was impressed watching them work. As a former football coach, I would want them on my team. I highly recommend Wellmade Concrete. I will use them again for my next project. Well done!

Had a concrete pad installed for our new RV garage. They installed a concrete pad 4ft above our driveway, left a mess and destroyed our grass and neighbors ( drove across our neighbors property). Keep giving us excuses on returning to fix, level off our driveway with a rock ramp so our RV can drive in and fit without hitting the top of the new RV garage.. Had to pay extra for materials because of their f__k up! They canceled 3 times , excuses why they couldnâ t finish . They left 3 piles of materials for 4 days , blocking us in. When they did return , 1 employee, he just move materials to make a so-called ramp which didnâ t work. RV and car got stuck in the loose gravel. So many problems and excuses and scaring our neighbors. Everything promised by the Salesperson was not delivered. We had to spend another 8,000.00 to fix their mess/mistake. The management offer to give some kind of credit, but has not done anything at this time, a month later. Had to hire a different company to repair the landscaping, driveway , build a retaining wall and install a 40ft ramp so our RV can be driving into our new Garage. Our neighbors have seen what had happened and will never call on Madewell. End up costing us double the cost!! FYI, on the second day of pouring concrete, it was not completed yet, the project manager, made me complete a review, before all this bull happen. We are very, very happy with the new contractors we hired to fix Madewell concrete poor/ bad work!

He was very understanding per my request and was able to move my job up. His crew was great in doing that work I can’t say enough about how happy I am.

We hired Madewell to install a stamped concrete patio in our yard. Their crew let the concrete set too much before applying the stamp. As a result, the impression was not deep enough, leaving the scrape marks still visible from the leveling tool and leaving an inconsistent result throughout the patio. They also sprayed some kind of liquid onto areas of the concrete just before applying the stamp to the area, which resulted in puckering and in many places when the stamp was pulled up. This is a terrible result for which we paid $6700. We have had several experts and other concrete contractors look at this patio, all of whom have come to that same conclusion and that Madewell should redo the job. Madewell has refused to redo the job or refund our money, and has taken a stance that it is good enough and offered a $700 refund. They also charged us for a 7 yard concrete job, and I have since discovered it was a 4 yard job. There were numerous other issues with this job, but this is the worst part. If you go to their FB page and reviews on line, you will see a trend that Madewell does not stand behind its work.

Our patio and concrete slab look great, the back of my brick House not so much from concrete splatter that won't come off. Perhaps they should have hung some plastic or something?

Professional, timely

I was happy with them when they were trying to sell me their service. They were double the cost of other contractors but include a warranty. I was less than 60 Days in and have 2 cracks all the way through the concrete from end to end of crack and they will NOT fix it. Nor will they respond to my emails. Iâ m planning to take further action
