Mr. Sandless

I strongly recommend not using Mr Sandless contractors. These contractor's are franchised by a National Company www.MrSandless.com which says each franchise (contractor) is independently owner and operated and National Company is not responsible for their work. Their independent owners are often "LLC" operations and pending your state laws you probably can not sue the "members" (owners). They also say you must use their arbitration route to settle disputes. Contrary to many State Consumer Law requirements they may not give you a written and signed proper contract until the work is complete, so you don't really know the ID of your actual contractor until then. And a State's Right for a consumer to cancel the contract is bypassed by giving you the contract paper after the work is done. Run the other away !!! Customer Update 11/21/23: This particular Saratoga/Washington County franchise violated NYS Business Law 771: (1) did not present a written contract or execute it before starting work, (2) included conditions therein that were not discussed or revealed to customer beforehand, and (3) did not sign the contract. Continues not to communicate with customer or resolve the problem.

My wife and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. When the old cabinets were removed in preparation for the new ones, which are less deep, some areas that did not have hardwood were exposed. In order to complete the remodel we needed those areas added in. Dan from Mr Sandless was the first contractor we called. He presented himself as knowledgeable, engaging, and answered our concerns to our satisfaction. And the price, we felt, was reasonable. The flooring technicians he sent, Chris and Ernie, to do our floor were excellent workers who demonstrated craftsmanship and work ethic as they worked hard to replace missing flooring , sealing, and restoring our kitchen floor. My new floors are simply beautiful. I was impressed that the owner oversees his workers very closely to make sure that we were all on the same page in the process. I knew what was happening every step of the way. The customer service is exceptional. I recommend this business for beautiful hardwood floors at a very reasonable price. Five stars across the board.

the workers were very professional and they did an excellent job. this is the answer to refinishing hardwood floors. no sanding and having your house full of dust. great job!!!!!
