We are not Remediators, Duct Cleaners or Contractors. We conduct Residential & Commercial Inspections including Indoor Air Quality Testing, such as Mold, Asbestos, Lead , Radon VOC's and Allergens. We work closely with Attorneys, Banks, Builders, Contractors, Property Buyers & Sellers, Insurance Companies, Mortgage Companies, Property Managers, Realtors, Remediation Companies and many State and Federal Agencies. We conduct Post Remediation Assessment to make sure clean-up was conducted correctly. We have no conflict of interest. All Inspectors carry at least three (3) Certifications, not certifications that you get on the internet. All Inspectors are Certified by the American Indoor Air Quality Council (AIAQC) and the American Council for Accredited Certifications (ACAC). All results & reports within 12-24 hours.

I’m so truly thankful NAL East Environmental showed up. I read their Company Profile, Certifications, testing, etc. I was impressed by all the Credentials of NAL Eastern Environ. As well as, their Inspectors’ Licenses & Credentials. I’m so extremely Grateful & Thankful for Mark & Joe. They came right out, showing Professionalism, Knowledge, they were Thorough, Showed Care & Compassion for Our Situation. Upon finding Serious issues, they cont’d to show true concern for myself & son’s health. It’s RARE One finds a Company with such Professionalism & High Moral standards. Yet, here they are!! From my initial call w/Andy, Professional, Caring & Concerned to get someone out to Help quickly, yet NO Pressure. I’ve since referred both Mark & Joe to Family!! NAL East is Top Rate. Our family was ill in various ways. Severe ear infection in my husband which he has never had. What felt like frequent colds. Sore throats that lingered. Our oldest daughter got terrible migraines that usually resulted in vomiting. Our youngest started stuttering. I frequently had a bump in my throat that was disturbing. Vision changes. Brain fog. Gastro issues. There were strange rashes. Sneezing fits. Stomach issues. Our girls got a cold/flu. I brought them in my room to sleep and the sneezing stopped. When they recovered, I moved them back to their bedroom. Sneezing resumed. That was the first red flag. We had the strongest instinct something was off in there. After a thorough cleaning, I noticed the wall behind their beds, though dry, flexed. Dry rotted. Enter NAL EAST. Our apartment was a biohazard and our daughters bedroom, was ground zero. Many thanks to Mark and the team that gave clarity to our situation. All our future moves will require a thumbs up by NAL EAST.

The mold inspector came by on the day that was scheduled. The inspection took no more than 45 minutes as he took air samples all over my home and some outside for a control. As he worked I asked a few questions as I wanted to better understand the process. He was very polite and was super quick with gathering samples. A few days later I received email notifications from the lab to show what stage of the process my samples were. We did find out a few days later that we unfortunately had black mold at elevated levels. They then transferred us over to a partner chemical company that specializes at helping everyone DIY their mold remediation. I was so happy with the results I would be recommending they go with the company everything they need quality testing done. I will be using them again if I need to in the future but from all that I learned from them, I now have the enough knowledge to be able to hopefully prevent it in the future.

NAL East sent out Mark Stern to help do a mold sampling and air quality test to my home. Right when I first met Mark, I knew he was the right guy for the job. His knowledge and experience helped me feel at easy when he was doing his inspection. He went over everything that he was doing and explained step by step his process. He preformed a very thorough inspection by taking pictures and labeling each one. At the end, he asked if I had any more questions and even told me to contact him if I had additional questions about the inspection report. He did an incredible job. Not only was he a great help professionally, but he was also a very easy person to talk to. We got along great right away and this helped me feel more confident on my choice with NAL East testing. I will continue to use NAL East for future testing and I will recommend this company to family and friends.

$700 was not enough to determine what the white fluffy mold is in the basement. The report showed the house had clean air, but still, the mold grows, and the one thing I was worried about was not addressed. Complete waste of money. And they left a gouge in the wooden floor, where some of their equipment crashed over. Not happy.

"So sorry to hear that you are unhappy. As far as the floor goes, I will reach out to your inspector and he will be responsible for the floor. We wish you would have contacted us directly so we could address your concerns. So Sorry. This never happened before. Your inspector will be dealt with in-house by his supervisors. In reviewing your report, the hand-written notes do state that you could have had a swab done on the white substance, but you and your inspector decided on air sampling instead. Your on-site inspector stated that the white on the walls (stone) appears to be effervescence."

Extremely professional operation. These are the best people to use to diagnose any indoor air quality or mold, radon, etc. To me, it’s important to separate the person evaluating the condition from a company that also happens to offer remediation services. That’s my personal opinion and not any type of blanket statement. They were readily available, the Lead Contact was a. man named Mark Stern, who is a total Environmental professional. Fortunately, we had no issues, but wanted peace of mind, which we got in a very detailed Inspection and Report within a day or so. Happy to recommend them to Inspect, Test and Report on possible Indoor air safety issues.

I got a call within minutes on a weekend after requesting help. The guy on the phone (name forgotten) explained the process in great detail, which I appreciated. Appointment was scheduled for the next day. Mark Stern, our inspector, showed up promptly. Having young kids, I was careful to follow and learn as much as I could. Mark was extremely thorough, poking around deep into the rafters, and explaining what he saw as he went. Mark was both knowledgeable and affable. He took a ton of pictures, recorded air samples, and within 24 hours I had a very thorough, detailed report. Not sure what more I could have asked for. Great work.

Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. There is someone to assist 24 hours a day which is amazing. Mark and Peter came to my home for my testing and were excellent. My only negative comment is related to pricing. When I initially spoke with customer service my fee was to be $700. I then learned from Mark on the date of testing that was for 4 areas. Since I had more areas then that of concern I ended up paying almost $1,800 for 7 areas. I was not pressured in any way to do this but feel the customer service team should explain the tiers of their pricing in full so a client is fully informed.

Mark from NAL is the definition of a PRO! He was timely, efficient and very well read on his trade. I immediately felt like I finally had someone on my side after months of being told I was crazy.
