Painter 1 of Greater SLC

Painting crew did two days of covering furniture and preparing for paint and did an excellent job no paint problems anywhere. The paint has given us a new looking house and the crew were truly professional in everything they did. What a great job !!

I'm mostly happy but would be happier if they had taking more time to smooth out damage to wood work before they painted it. They were very fast and g o t the job done ahead of schedule. Also they went the extra mile , painted part of the bathroom which was not part of the agreement. Thank you for the bonus!

Painter 1 did a great job with our interior painting. They worked overtime to finish so that we could have access to our house again. They were professional and respectful of our home.

I think the job they will last 20 years. Uriel made some suggestions that made it much better job. He was really easy to work with. The price was really considering the size of the job. I would recommend Painter 1 to anyone.

They did an excellant job of cleaning and taping --much better than the painters we had last time we got the house done. They could have done a bit better job of scraping some of our trim, but overall, they did a very professional job.

Painter 1 did a great job. Olga is very organized as the office manager and bidder. She gave us a fair bid and told us exactly when the painters would arrive and how long it would take, which I appreciated. There were a couple of minor problems, which they were prompt to handle fairly and to our satisfaction. The painters were professional and polite and cleaned up everything after they were finished. The new paint job looks beautiful and we would not hesitate to hire them again.

The company emailed the day of stating they had to cancel because the painter was sick. Then they called and said they found someone else. The painter showed up with white paint instead of blue. The painter did not cover our furniture and paint speckles were all over our home. They also damaged our fireplace and tile. They had a cleaner come but that did not fix the tile. We are now left with a damaged mantle, fireplace, and tile. They said they under-quoted us after we brought up the issues. We had several quotes here and theirs was the highest. They sent back the painter to repair the fireplace, which again he did not cover the furniture. The painter also used shiny finished spray paint on the fireplace so there is an uneven portion of the matte finish and shiny. I have photos to show all of the damage. They would not fix what they damaged or refund what we paid for the painting even though the damage they left is higher than the cost of the project. This company is a joke.

They were very prompt with their bid. I also had bids with a couple of other paint contractors as well. Painter 1's bid was well within the other two bids so I felt they were very fair. They did a great job with the quality and timeliness of the job as we had them paint the entire interior of our home which was a big job. I would hire them again.

Olga was great to talk to and get a bid from. Ricardo was my painter and he was very friendly and did a great job.

(All we asked for was good work) Updated review, and will update as things change. We dealt with Uriel, They painted the exterior of our home, the quality of work is not good, the paint started to peel off 6 months later, they also under sprayed some areas that they said they would re spray (never did), our main door got damaged due to inexperienced employees sanding (we got left with an ugly job). I did call and text Uriel and he would say that he will come by, but the weather prevented him from coming over a few times and and now he says it is because of the gutters not being cleaned (The paint they used is not mad to hold on sheet metal or brick it was intended for wood siding which our home is wood and brick, they painted the sofits and gutters but with bad paint. They did give us there license and insurance and they also sent us a MSG stating that they warranty the work for a year so we might have to go the legal rout if they did not resolve these issues.

They were promt fair and professional. Will use them again.
