Peter was great. Very prompt to communicate. He came out to my house the very next day and had our report finished that same day. Spent plenty of time answering questions and discussing options for removing a load bearing wall.

Hired RBC for a client. Very knowledgeable and explained in detail the likely causes. Recommended corrective action scenarios and put my client at ease with a plan. Sent out a detailed report that same night! Will definitely hire again, and recommend in the future!

I contacted Peter to evaluate my 75 year old house for structural problems with the foundation. He was quick to respond and came out to evaluate the house in a timely manner. He was very thorough, spending almost 3 hours at the house, examining everything from top to bottom. He gave me a clear summary of his findings that day and followed up with a written report with recommendations within the week. Because this is an area I know little about and I would be dealing with professionals when getting bids to have the work done, I wanted to be very clear in my own mind that I was doing what needed to be done, and only what needed to be done to ensure I have a structurally stable home for the years to come. Because he is objective as well as highly trained an experienced, and is not making a profit based on his recommendations, I was able to trust completely what he told me and move forward with confidence getting bids from contractors and service providers. As a single woman this was very important to me. I would highly recommend using a structural engineer for this reason and am very happy I chose Peter to do this job for me.

First to call and showed up for the inspection right away. Initially, he advised to remove old structures (I would need to hire someone for this). I shared with him my ideas for support without removing older structures. Pete listened to my ideas and came back with a plan that I can easily do myself

Pete was the first engineer to call us. We're buying a 95 year old home with settlement issues and we wanted to know what caused them, what it would take if to correct them, and possibly add on to the home. He understood and was able to schedule a time to inspect the structure within a few days, and gave us a verbal and written report that enabled us to make an informed decision. He is a great communicator and we will hire him to help us with the design plans after we close escrow.

Pete helped me remove a load bearing wall in my house (18'-11" beam span). He inspected the house and gave me a set drawings and specifications all within a week. The drawings and specs were very clear and easy to use. Having the drawings in your hand when it is time for inspection gives you a lot of confidence. The inspector was impressed with Pete's work.
