Very disappointed with my wood stove replacement service. The workmanship was especially poor. The stove pipe is not centered, the sealant application is a mess, and the overall installation looks nothing like a professional job. It?s clear that corners were cut. It?s a brand new install that I am now afraid to light. As if that were not enough, they left my neighbors? driveway covered in concrete and sealant residue. An absolute waste of $5,000.

Clean and Inspect a wood burning stove or pellet stove
Shamrock Maintenance Corp. did an excellent job cleaning and inspecting our wood burning stove. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. They made sure the area was protected and left everything clean once the job was completed. I appreciated how thorough the inspection was and the time they took to answer our questions. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but they definitely delivered. Highly recommend.

Commercial Chimney or Fireplace Cleaning and Inspection
ALERT ??????? DO NOT HIRE SHAMROCK CHIMNEY
We hired Shamrock to repair our chimney after it was identified as the source of a roof leak. The work was done improperly, and the leak continued. Two independent roofers later confirmed the poor workmanship.
Shamrock agreed to return, but the follow-up visit was unprofessional and dismissive. The leak continued after additional rain, causing more interior damage. We were given conflicting explanations, missed appointments, and were ultimately told the issue wasn?t covered despite a ?10-year warranty.?
Our refund request for the $1,600 we paid was denied, and we were told to stop contacting the company. We had to pay other professionals to fix what should have been done correctly the first time.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend Shamrock.

Oil-Fired Chimney Cleaning and Inspection Service
Took 3 visits but was well worth the time, attention and patience to get the job done right. First day was inspection and quote for repairs/materials. Work started that day to patch the cement crown that was cracked and channeling water down one side of the chimney eroding bricks. A bowed metal plate on the chimney to shed water between the two flue caps was flattened and sealed with cement so it did not show from the ground and so flies would stop entering into the house thru one of the flues. Crumbling mortar was replaced between bricks and bricks were waterproofed. The chimney was measured and the cap to cover the entire chimney was ordered. The 2nd visit got rained out. The 3rd visit was a good weather day and the cap was assembled, installed and cemented in place. It is amazing how strong the animal guard around the 4 sides of the chimney is. The crew at all times was friendly, courteous & very competent being careful to do the entire project as if it was their home.

Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Non-Gas) - Install
Tried to engage several other companies to complete my project. Very glad none of the others worked out. Shamrock always arrived when they said they would, performed their service with excellence without drama. Very responsive. Others were providing estimates of weeks of lead time. Shamrock completed their work in less than two. If you have work coming up, would strongly advise resisting the urge to waste time by talking to anyone else than Shamrock. They are a pre-eminent company among their peers.
