Our HVAC system has been down this summer for over a month and Southern Trust has been putting us off. They said parts would take 3 months to get and were instead going to replace the faulty unit. They won't be able this right and still waiting for relief.

I want potential customers to be aware that Southern Trust Home Services of Roanoke, VA regularly overcharges to the extreme. For 10 minutes of actual plumbing work and 26$ retail plumbing parts they wanted $1835 for premium, $1490 for Plus service, and $ 1144 for basic service. Since we had their Total Care Program our price ended up at $747. All we needed was to cap the 1/4â outflow water supply shut off valve after removing icemaker. Instead he cut off about 2â of pipe and shutoff and replacing with shutoff and plastic tubing. I contacted them about their overcharging policies in general and especially with work we had done. The substitute manager said he would get back to me after discussing with his boss and no one ever did. What aggravates me is the many customers who are taken in by these predatory practices that cannot afford these prices. I checked with several companies and on line comparison sites such as Forbes and homewyse.com and found Southern Trust charging 2-4x the prices of other companies. So customers beware!

They are really good, they sent someone out quick. They text you a picture of the technician and time they will be there. James out tech guy was awesome. He really knows his job. He explained everything to us and showed us options to get what we need. He is very nice and professional. Definitely will recommend them to everyone.

This business records your phone call without a courtesy warning. This is legal in Virginia. However, it seems unethical and immoral. Ethical businesses will always gain my trust and confidence only!

Travis Jarrell went above & beyond to make us happy. He was polite and professional and thorough. He solved our problem quickly and then checked for possible other problems as our house is over 120 years old. We felt that he was doing all that he could do to correct our problem while educating us while doing the job. We have great confidence in this young man.

We had been fighting slow or clogged drains in the bathroom ever since we bought the house in 2007. It was time to get professional advice on how to fix the problem once and for all. They sent David out to take a look, give us our options, explain everything, give us an estimate of what to expect, and schedule us for the work. He arrived as scheduled and completed the work in a timely fashion. He was extremely courteous and respectful at all times. The office has called after each visit to make sure we were satisfied. Great customer service! A little more expensive than some, but well worth it in my opinion! I will most definitely use them again!

The work was performed at a rental property that I own. It is nice having a company that you can count on to take care of things. They may not be the cheapest, but they are knowledgeable and dependable.

It wasn't actually a water heater repair. It was a water softener repair, but that wasn't a category. Kenny came to my home today and I think I finally have my water softener working. He tested the water and saw that the water softener wasn't working, found a broken part inside of it, replaced it, ran it through a cycle, broke up a salt bridge and tested the water to be sure the water was getting softer before he left. Kenny called when he was on his way, arrived on time, was very professional, told me what was going on all along, made the repair in reasonable time and left no mess. Kenny is my new favorite plumber!

The installer ran into some problems installing a new gas water heater because my house was built in 1969--but he was able to overcome all obstacles and get the new heater installed in the same day.

196.00 to change out a light fixture above the kitchen sink I think was too much, the work was ok however the fixture itself is not completely straight and that could be because the other one was not also I am not sure
