NEVER USE. They canceled my move one hour before they were supposed to start. Would not answer my call, such cowards. Please use Hapi moving. When this poor excuse for a business canceled, Hapi moving showed me how. Professional mover works

This AWFUL business made me pay a deposit to CANCEL my delivery on a Sunday morning that same morning. Would not take my call and kept the deposit. NEVER USE I called upset and this guy who could speak little english hung up on me. Thanks St John's moving form making me take you to small claims for theft of deposit. STAY AWAY. See text cancelling an hour before my move. What a JOKE

I didn't want to go into every detail of the issue, but think it needs to be said for awareness. Issue 1: Arrived over 4 hours late for the appointment. Issue 2: Due to the late arrival, by the end of the day, unloading wasn't completed, employees were dragging their feet (i.e. going extremely slow; and decided to smoke in our newly built house. Issue 3: Damage to several items. Issue 4: Charged for wrapping up furniture covers (despite the "NO HIDDEN FEES" clause) Charged as a 30 minute charge for work to be done after they left. Issue 5: Worked with Miguel to make another appointment in a few days. No one called and no one showed up. I was told that there was an employee meeting; but instead of reaching out to be informed, I had to call. So regarding the reimbursements, I did agree to help find the items because in discussing with my main contact Lesley; she told me that it'd be easier instead of having me as the middle-man. The first item that was broken was reimbursed directly on final bill. The second item which was damage, I had replacement part and invoice by February 15th. I had to follow-up several times, and finally reimbursed on March 6th. The 3rd item, did take me longer to find since it was no longer manufactured. Despite the company blaming me for the delay on reimbursement, I did my due diligence; and found a used part on ebay, ordered on March 13th; but item arrived damaged and I had to get another. Invoice supplied on April 12th. I didn't get this reimbursement until July 9th where I had to open a case with Thumbtack, the company I used to hire them, to get resolved. Lastly, the last 2 items of replacement hardware and part to my bedframe, Miguel and Mercedes committed over and over again to send it to me, and I had to continue to follow-up. Mercedes finally landed on not following up on your commitment. This is where the company receives their 1 star, because they committed to replacing the part and according to them: "We will always do the right thing by either repairing, replacing or reimbursing the damaged item."; this shouldn't require me to follow-up for months for the company to do the right thing; and then instead of simply closing out the issue by replacing the last parts, you said to the Thumbtack team: I heard back from Mercedes, who said: "they refunded you three times. They refunded for the oscillating fan, the damaged refrigerator shelf, and the piece for your bed. They feel they have been obliging to your requests, but they are not responsible for missing hardware and are not willing to refund you an additional $100." So if a company damages about $700 worth of stuff, and only reimburse $600; that doesn't mean you have fulfilled your obligation. They stating that "they are not responsible for missing hardware", is quite an interesting argument when Miguel (their employee) was the person who took apart the furniture, moved the furniture inside my house and didn't put it back together again. And that is why, it is a 1-star.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. Do NOT book with them. Very unprofessional. Lied about time they would show up for the move. Even after I accepted their time change. Waited 3 1/2 hrs after the scheduled time as if I had nothing else to do â ¦ very inconsiderate of other peopleâ s time but charge very hefty for their time, Unreasonable. BEWARE , you should look for other movers.

This company change times on twice and they inconvenience. Me, and when they got here, they did not honor The contract . they moved me with under 2 hours. Which is according to our contract, I'm supposed to get a deposit back . They have not given my deposit back and give me back my traveling fee. They will not answer my emails. Or calls . I feel like a totally been scammed by this company. I do not recommend anyone use this moving company.

February 2023 I moved. Hired movers because I have Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. I did not want to do any labor. At 6 am received a text. My 8 a.m. was moved to 10 a.m. due to a sick call. At 11 a.m. informed movers were headed to me. At noon 2 courteous drivers arrived. Each grabbed a box and started. No hand truck. So my sister and I moved 40 boxes outside to speed things up. We also moved boxes 1 at a time into a new location. Physically this killed me. The 3.5-hour quote became 4.5 hours with 4 of us doing the move. Charged extra hours even with me working side by side with movers. They were unprepared for this move. They knew there was a long hallway and brought only 1 Dolley to move 3 rooms of furniture. I wont use them again and will not recommend them.

If you want to be treated like a criminal and told that your concerns do not matter then this is the right company for you. If I could give zero stars I would. I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes late. No logo on the truck, no ramp or proper dolly. No power drills, just a little toolbox of screwdrivers and such. When the movers first came in, they reeked of marijuana. It took them 6.5 hours to load 1 bedroom into the truck. Then when I noticed many of my things were damaged, I said to them that they told me they were insured so they can fix or replace my items correct? I was supposed to get a call from a field manager. I did not get one until after they left without saying a damn word. I am missing things and not all of the screws and parts of my things they took apart are present. I had no opportunity to check their truck so for all I know they still have some of my things. I can only go through so many things. I am still checking to see what is missing. The manager was extremely rude. Stating I had ill intent. Stated I refused to sign a blank paper stating they could charge me the amount. I said I did not want to sign a blank amount. If we could figure out the final amount and then sign, or if they want me to sign it at least let me keep the paper until I can put in a final amount. Because honestly, you never know in the world today, they could take the blank signature and put in any amount they want. But they took that as a refusal and left without saying a word. The manager was berating me and performed zero effort in trying to make good on how the move was handled and my damaged things. So I paid 1,400 for an incomplete job, to feel belittled, unimportant, and unprotected as a customer.

So happy that I went with Lesley and her crew. Communication to quote and confirm the job was above and beyond. Constant contact through the quoting process. Very upfront and accurate pricing. Once the crew arrived they were extremely nice, professional and down to earth. Miguel and his team wrapped every piece of furniture I had, down to my daughters antique dollhouse. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was packed properly and protected. Unloading was just as great as the loading. Everything was assembled and placed where I asked. They even made a second trip back down the stairs with a heavy piece of furniture because we decided to put it somewhere else. I can’t recommend this company enough. Please use and support this family owned business doing great work as well as still being affordable and friendly. Thank you St. John’s.

Miguel made everything so easy for me, his crew showed up on time and moved our whole apartment to our new house. Moving brings a great deal of stress but St John moving was able to alleviate the whole process thanks a lot guys!
