AVOID this business!!! Company says "We value honesty and integrity in all aspects of our business." FALSE! Read my experience; you be the judge. 5-23-25: Technician Benny Stafford inspected dishwasher & ordered main wash pole & throw light switch. I paid $ 427.45. 2nd Stafford visit: Told him dishwasher leaks. He recommended unit replacement; installation fee $ 199.00. He acknowledged $ 228.45 refund due. Light switch not needed. 7-16-25: New dishwasher installed. Stafford promised to deliver refund check on 7-21-25. NO check delivered! 9-5-25: Email from Teresa Johnson (company office) requested last 4 digits of credit card to "ensure a smooth & prompt refund process". NO refund issued! Additional promises to issue refund on 9-28-25, 10-1-25, & 10-3-25 were broken. Company refused to reply to Better Business Bureau & North Carolina Consumer Protection office re: my complaint!!

Tech Benny Stafford diagnosed our freezer problem as a faulty defrost coil (780 dlrs) which we purchased. Part was to be installed the following day. In the meantime he placed a hairdryer to accelerate the defrost but left while it was being timed. It completely melted the interior of the freezer which we advised him by video/text. He arrived the next morning to assess damage and determined his original dianostic was incorrect and that the freezer only needed a relay (which he purchased from Home Depot so non-standard for the Thermador freezer, for a couple of dlrs) which he installed. I then cancelled the original CC payment and asked to be rebilled. He said a new door had been ordered as well as the other replacement parts. Needless to say nothing was ever done: no parts ordered or recvd. I filed a small claims case which was adjudged in my favor for 4300 dlrs. CC company cancelled the billing but we were forced to purchase a new fridge/freezer.... STAY AWAY from this company

Stay far away!! He took almost $700 dollars for a part that I paid up front for. We scheduled a day and time he would come after the part allegedly was delivered to him. Day of he claimed that a piece was missing and he would call back. Never did. We texted back and forth and then he's gone silent. This has been over a year. I had another repair company come out to fix the problem. When they ordered the part it was $126 dollars. Total scammer!

We have paid $1000 for a part that we are still waiting on - we have been waiting for 11 months and continue to call and book appointments online and Benny/HE Appliance never show nor call back. He is a fraud who takes people's money and runs. Read up on Benny Stafford. He has been investigated by local news teams for repeated scams.

Within 24 of contacting High End Appliances, our refrigerator is up and running! Ben promptly came out on a Sunday to diagnose our issue and Josh came out earlier than expected to install the damaged part! Very professional and respectful and all this during a very busy Thanksgiving Holiday week. We cannot be more pleased! Thank you so much Ben and Joshua!!
