I honestly don't know if I can express how impressed I was with Jim Hays and Co. I based my decision solely on the reviews from the company that had a LARGE number of reviews and the 9 that were submitted on Jim's company. I did not see a single complaint over pricing, all the reviews were positive and reassuring. We lost power to the heat pump leaving the inside of our house warmer than the outside temp. I called Jim's number and explained all the steps I took to eliminate and troubleshoot on my own. The fuse in the handler was good, breakers were good too, everything looked good from a non HVAC professionals point of view. Jim gave me Jeff's number, his son. I called Jeff and gave him the down and dirty. He was at a job and could get to us in the evening, he was in the middle of installing a unit when I called. I then rec'd a text from Jeff stating that he can meet me at our house at 2:00 instead of 5:00 as we agreed upon, that is HUGE in my book, earlier than later. When I got home, he was already diagnosing the problem, running up into the attic and me following. I asked him if I could listen to what he was explaining to Taylor, she has been with the company learning for, I think about 3 years. That was impressive, not being thrown into the fire like other HVAC companies after the tech "graduates" from HVAC school out there trying to sell upgrades that really aren't needed. I asked for some business cards so I could keep, good, honest and fair companies are hard to find. Jeff figured out what the problem was, the "idiot", me, who installed the thermostat 2.5 years ago, cut the red "hot" line by mistake when I installed the thermostat. Jeff in a matter of minutes performed magic, replaced the faceplate, ran up in the attic and twisted wires, replaced the wire nuts and all of a sudden the unit kicked on. We went outside and he tested the pressure, and explained what his displays were showing him. At no point did he give the classic upcharge line of, "you need freon", being truthful and honest will win me over every time. I have never had such a pleasant experience in my life! My last house in Winchester I paid for freon and then they told me I have a crack in the copper. EES&CE Inc will be coming out to repair our gas fireplace in the fall. They were a joy to have them in our house this afternoon. I plan on using them for other repairs I care not to take on. I know I rambled on raving about Jim and Jeff but you WILL NOT be disappointed by selecting them over the other contractors in the area. Jeff's professionalism won me over and will win you over too.

Mr. Jim Hays is very courteous and professional person. He came to our home on time completed the work for AC tune and explained the things in detail like what kind of Filters we should use. Pricing they are very reasonable. I didn't had any issue in scheduling an appointment. I would recommend just in case if you need to wait for him please wait your every dollar paid to company is worth.

We have had them do several plumbing repairs, small and large, at the house. On a couple of occasions, they had to come back to do follow-up fixes (pipe failures due to improper injection molding); these were replaced, at no additional cost to us, in a timely manner. We find this company easy to work with and keep using them.

These guys have done most of the electrical (and HVAC and plumbing) work at our house for the past 8 years. They take pride in doing good work, respond as quickly as is possible, and are good to their word. If there is an issue or problem, they take care of it.

Very knowledgeable. The owner is a master on 4 different trades, can always get an answer from him. Prices are very fair, is very upfront with everything. No surprises at the end. The work is always done right. He won't cut corners, does not sacrifice quality.

I made a service call in the middle of July for our ac heat pump that would not turn on. The unit was over 20 years old and it was unable to be repaired. So they came out and within 2 days upgraded us to a wonderful unit and it change the whole environment of the house. It was so comfortable on all three floors. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing, electrical and home repairs.

This past winter my heat broke. We have a newborn baby, so we needed this to be resolved quickly. We called Emergency Services. They were there to serve us the same day. Unfortunately our system was too far gone to repair. Emergency Services offered us a very reasonable price on a new system, which they installed promptly. They had us back up and running in no time.

They were excellent. Punctual, polite, got the job done within budget & didn't mind my asking questions about other projects as we went. I'm compiling a list of other projects that I & my husband won't be able to do on our own for them.

I was among the many with pipes that froze during an extremely cold week. Emergency Services was there within an hour and had the pipes thawed quickly thus preventing any damage! I was very pleased with the prompt service!

We have been using Emergency Services for years. It become very apparent and proven early on that Jim the owner was someone we could trust. His honesty and excellent work ethics are traits that were lacking in other contractors we had used after moving into our home. Over the years we have used his services for major items as in replacing our entire heating and cooling system and hot water heater to jobs like replacing electrical switches and bathroom plumbing in two bathrooms. Having one person that is ������certified������ in multiple crafts (electrical, heating/cooling, and plumbing) allows us the convenience to use one company. He has always stood behind his work. The fact we have continued using Emergency Services going on 10 years says it all.
