This was the most unprofessional contracting experience I?ve had. Poor workmanship, poor communication, inaccurate billing. We hired this company in early November to redo a pantry. The scope of work was straightforward: center a door frame and install 270-degree shelving. Because Thanksgiving was approaching, I explicitly told them that if they could not complete the job before the holiday, I would postpone the project. They insisted multiple times that it would take three days. I terminated the contract on day 14 and completed the rest of the work myself over the next 7 days. After being fired, the company sent a final invoice that exceeded the original quote, despite completing less work. This project missed deadlines by weeks, required rework due to basic errors, caused property damage, and resulted in inaccurate billing. I would not recommend them, save yourself the headaches.

Avoid this company at all costs. What should?ve been a simple two-bathroom renovation turned into an eight-month nightmare of poor workmanship, repeated mistakes, and endless delays caused by inexperienced crews. The basement bathroom had to be redone multiple times by different teams, each creating new problems. Even after admitting to the issues and agreeing to cancel the second bathroom, they dragged their feet for weeks, dodged refund questions, and even implied leftover materials were our problem. When they finally picked them up, they charged us for their time?while ignoring that materials for the second bathroom were used to fix the first. The entire process lacked transparency, consistency, and accountability. We started in good faith, but it?s clear this company doesn?t value integrity or customer satisfaction. If you want honesty, quality, and professionalism, look elsewhere. Hard pass.

HB Services did a great job renovating my dining room into a guest room. We had an open archway framed up for French doors, walled off walkway to the kitchen, installed a ceiling fan and closet. Then painted the entire room. The project management, invoicing, and quality was on point! HB is now my go-to contractor!
