I'm a physically disabled paraplegic homeowner and my house was severely damaged when a huge tree fell onto my roof causing severe damaged. I contacted my insurance company that eventually sent out ACE TREE SERVICE COMPANY to remove all the fallen tree debris from my property. I received a referral from them about Restoration 1 who immediately contacted me to inspect my house. Bill Stevens, Project Manager and Marty Deavers, Construction Manager both with Restoration 1 was all smiles acting Compassionate/Empathic. Bill Stevens even put gas into my car so I could immediately leave the property to relocate to the Hotel Extended Stay my insurance company finally booked for me. He then put his Debit Card on file for incidentals charges since I didn't have one available. He followed up purchasing groceries just showing how trusting he was until the homeowner insurance company paid out the over $ 51, 178.00 for damages suddenly the atmosphere changed. I couldn't get anything. Update as of 05/12/2026: The catrotrophic weather from March 2026 damaged a huge tree close to my house but the tree didn't collapse until about 3 weeks later. I immediately contacted my property insurance company who dispatched ACE TREE SERVICE COMPANY to remove the hugh tree from my roof and surrounding areas of my house. ACE TREE SERVICE COMPANY has a close relationship with Restoration 1 Pelham location and contacted me about my property. They immediately began bombarding with calls and texts messages offering to doing almost anything to get the job of repairing my house. Unfortunately as soon as my homeowner insurance company direct deposited the close to $ 60,000.00 into my Banking Account everything CHANGED. Kaboom they removed their MASKS showing Psychological Predators who after receiving the check for repairing my property wouldn't even give me a contract for the job without a Battle. Ultimately the relationship became so TOXIC I simply demanded REFUND since they CAN'T TRUST as decent HUMANS.

It has been an awesome experience from the middle of the night call to them last night to the service that they provided at 8:30am in the morning. They were professional and caring. It put my wife and I in a feeling of relief after a night of worry, discomfort, and concern. I would strongly recommend their services. We now have peace of mind, and are confident that the water damage in our home will be adequately repaired.

Great team, very responsive, very respectful of your property. When you are faced with a difficult situation such as a flood, most are willing to sign any paper work placed in front of you. I would caution anyone in this situation to take the time to read CAREFULLY all the details of what you are agreeing to. Would I use Restoration 1 again? yes, but I would take the time to read all disclosures.

This is a great company. Unlike other contractors I have delt with, James is dependable, reliable and prompt. He was responsive to my calls and willing to answer any questions I had. I can not even tell that there was damage to my home. James is easy to work with and he followed up to ensure all my expectations were being met. I will without hesitation reach out to James if I need these services again in the future and I strongly recommend as this is a true professional.
