Hafer Constructions ultimately did a fantastic job. Rick Hafer is a pleasure to work with. After some initial bumps in the road with his project manager, Rick took care of all of our details/requirements well. I would definitely recommend Rick Hafer and Hafer Construction for a basement remodel/project.

The work this contractor did was excellent; also had good design ideas. Would advise weekly updates to make sure the schedule and expectations are understood; was Project Mgr dependant - we changed from a less experienced manager to a more experienced manager and the communication was great.

We were very pleased with Hafer construction and Rick Hafer was a joy to work with. The people he subcontracted with were courteous and trustworthy. Rick was very patient and worked hard to please us. He was also extremely knowledgeable and one of the most honest people I know. I would hire him for any job in the future and highly recommend him to others.

Hafer Construction did a great job on our basement remodeling project. The scope of work included finishing all rooms, cutting new window openings as well as installing a full kitchen and bath. Rick Hafer worked with us to design the new basement layout and provided a scaled drawing as part of the contract documents. Hafer's work was high quality and Rick kept us well informed of all project activities and scheduling. Hafer Construction was very responsive to all of our change requests including a custom design for the ceramic tile in the kitchen. We did, however, encounter some delays due to longer than anticipated lead times on delivery of kitchen cabinets and countertop. Overall we are very happy with the finished product and would recommend Hafer Construction highly to others.
