Emperial is a small, customer-oriented business that can give its customers personal attention. We use the Bona Kemi dustless system, which cuts down on the dust by 90%. We also feather dust cabinets, countertops, and walls after job completion. In addition, we specialize in today's high-traffic finishes. These finishes are twice as strong as conventional polyurethanes, and they cure faster as well. The company carries both workers' compensation and liability insurance. Emperial also requires a 600-square-foot minimum and guarantees its work. We care about our customers and have a great deal of pride in the work that we do. I trusted him and his crew to do a great job. After meeting his crew when we were testing stain colors, I felt very comfortable leaving town while they worked in my home. We are very pleased with the hardwood floors. You cannot tell where the new floors begin and the old existed. They were beautifully woven together. The inlaid wood floor vents give a very polished look to the home. I did have a couple of spots on the handrails that I wanted them to look at when I got home. They promptly came back and did a few touch ups. When a company is willing to make a trip back out so that you are 100% happy, I always appreciate that."

"Poorly. Old Castle exceeded the one month estimate and completion took 3 1/2 months. They exhibited poor communication skills, were unresponsive and careless, significantly damaging our existing bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, kitchen sink and failed to cover our outdoor terrace, left caked up cement and adhesives on the surface which therefor needs repair/repainting. We eventually agreed a resolution with them but they did not do any of the agreed repairs to our vanities. We have never posted a negative review on social media but strongly recommend that you select a different contractor."
