Repairs to the chimney liners was done much less expensively than I thought possible without tearing into the brickwork. It seems that the owner treats his workers with respect. There is a team atmosphere on the job. He has more long-term employees than I have seen in companies that hire tradesmen."

"Bob was outstanding. Day one he completely demolished the old chimney and removed all of the bricks and wrapped up the existing chimney flu. He returned the next day and was wrapping things up when I returned home from work. The results look perfect. So much, that a neighbor asked me for his name because he said I have the best chimney on the block now. His price was very fair from other companies, he wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. He was very communicative via text and phone. Great experience. Plus he has a coupon on Angie's List. He was also able to match the current brick on my home."

"The technician that came out to my house came down from New York to PA. He called with an approximate arrival time the morning of the appointment and arrived within 15 minutes of the estimated time.

During every step of the appointment he was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The appointment took about 4 hours overall because of the condition of the vents in the home I had just purchased. Plus, the technician took the time to educate me when I had questions. He also recommended some basic things to keep our system in good repair going forward.

"Overall, we are satisfied with the product and services rendered. We picked Bob because of his price and professionalism. Our roof is pretty complex and we had two skylights replaced, so the price was middle of the pack compared to the other quotes we received. Our roof looks great and the crew that came out was very professional and courteous. They worked hard, even though the weather was hitting 90 for most of the week. They also left a few extra shingles in case a storm causes damage, which I appreciate. At the end of the job, we did have to prompt the crew to do a second check for nails and staples because we saw some still lying around. Also, one of their cars left rust marks on our driveway, but they should wash out in the rain. I gave Bob a B in responsiveness because there were a couple times that he didn't get back to me quickly (via text or phone call). Everything worked out, but I would have liked to have my phone call returned the same day. I am giving a B for Punctuality because the job took 4 1/2 days rather than the estimated three. A few different companies said they could do the job in two days. The last (half) day was due to a supply shortage, a minor oversight that added more time to a job that we hoped would be done sooner."

Knowledgable to repair all the of complications that were found with the existing foundation once the excavation began. Very high quality masonry work in the rebuilt walls. Also took the time to replant and clean up the landscape around the home after the work was done."

"They called me the very day I left a message. (A+ for that). They offered 2 different appointment dates that very week. (Again A+) The service was set up for 9-11 AM but I got a call at 8:30 saying there were truck issues and would be running behind. (Still A+ because I was contacted early enough that I could choose to stay home and wait or choose another day). I chose to stick with the original day and just wait. The only reason I rated a B for punctuality was because as the day progressed I didn't get an update call as to when I could expect them. Come 4:00 PM I was in the midst of leaving a voice mail when the truck pulled up. He was so pleasant and sorry for the delay. He quickly got the job done and I feel it was worth the wait."

"Chimney flues were replaced. Brick at the top of chimney was replaced - matches nicely.  Front steps were rebuilt with new brick and using the original sandstone tops. Mortar was dyed to match existing mortar.  Great job!
