"Tuesday in June 2022, 4:03 PM Received a call from my wife, that our water had stopped while my son was in the shower. 4:14 PM Placed a call to Quality Water (QW) for Service. Keep in mind they are a "24 hour" service, is what they say. Customer Service (CS) said when asked, for service call charges normally is $135.00. After 4 PM is when premium rates kick in, which is $229.00 for service call (not per hour) to get back up plus parts and I said I was okay with that because I did not have water. LONG STORY SHORT: they called couldn't be out that night and put me off till next morning. They called next morning, all crew out on a big job and can't make it till tomorrow-24 hrs. service? When they did, the plumbing was way different and after they came back out to change it, again as I had before, they didn't do like I asked and leaks. Charged me $2395.00 to replace a switch & 22 gal. pressure tank - very high, but they had me over a barrel. Check the picture of the plumbing I found after they left - I trusted them for years and was shocked of how I found it when it simple came straight in down and over to the tank like a square Z to this? No written estimate or receipt, I had to call to ask for it. As a former service manager, I can tell you this service manager, Aaron did not handle this correctly at all. In pre court resolution now, and possible small claims to rectify. This from a customer that used this company for a couple decades, but first time for 911 services - no longer using unless this is cleared to satisfaction. Take my advise, don't call them for 911 services because they will rack you over the coals and are NOT true 24 hour service. There is a lot more bulleted points I could add, but won't. I am a patient person, but they blocked both my phone numbers and the owner never called to solve, only left a response on Google reviews to give him a call to resolve and want to keep their rave reviews. They have my number and if cared, could have this taken care of long ago. Unfortunately, small claims are next, if not cleared up very soon."

"Suburban Septic Service Inc has become a reputable and well-known Septic Installation, Service, and Cleaning company throughout the Northeast Ohio area. Since its founding by Patrick J. Valentine & Michele Valentine in 1987 with the purchase of one small pumper truck, the company has grown along with the Valentine Family. As a family-owned & operated company, Suburban Septic Service Inc is dedicated to providing high quality, affordable, and professional septic services to the Northeast Ohio area. In the early 1990s, the company quickly expanded with Patrick's knowledge and experience in the wastewater treatment industry as he trained and became a licensed and registered Installer and Service Provider for multiple types of household sewage treatment systems or "septic systems" approved by the Ohio Department of Health. In 1998, Suburban Septic Service Inc became a licensed distributor for multiple manufacturers of Sewage Treatment Systems. Nearly 37 years later, Suburban Septic Service Inc remains one of very few companies in the region qualified to install, service, and clean your septic system. We are licensed, bonded, and insured as an installer, septic hauler, and service provider in Cuyahoga, Medina, Lorain, Lake, and Summit Counties. Please call (330) 722-4262 to schedule a free on-site evaluation and quote for a replacement system, new home construction, or repair of an existing septic system.

"We originally chose a different septic system company and the day they were supposed to start...no call, no show. Frustrated, we reached out to several folks who advised us to use All Town and Country Septic Tank Service to have our septic tank replaced. We are glad that the original company did not show up and that we chose to work with All Town and Country. Starting on day 1 and through the duration of the project, Tyler and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable and reliable. He explained the process and expectations clearly to us at the beginning and through completion. This was a big job (for us) and came with some challenges... as most do. Tyler and his team were honest and forthcoming with every issue no matter how big or small. They did what they could to handle access limitations, weather conditions, unexpected digging/ground issues and any other issues that were encountered. Tyler constantly kept us informed so we understood the options and outcomes as well as shared his experiences so we could make educated decisions. Regardless of the situation, he made sure it was done right, as if he was working on his own home and property. Tyler and his team honored every commitment made. We really do appreciate the level of customer service and respect that we were afforded through the process by all of them. Based on the level of integrity and trust that we have built through the process with All Town and Country Septic Tank Service, we have decided to continue to use them for our septic tank maintenance and would recommend them for septic tank needs."

FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED. CHARGES SERVICE CALL PLUS HOURLY RATE. FLAT RATE ON YEARLY MAINTENANCE.
"I had a sewage pump fail with flooding in my basement. The system was installed by the prior owner and I had little information about it. I talked to 6 different plumbers and my city with 4 professionals coming to my house and failing to diagnose the problem. Eventually, I was referred to Harper Well & Pump. Mike was prompt in helping me diagnose the problem over the phone and said he could bring several parts for different potential solutions in the morning. He arrived when he said he would and made surprisingly quick work confirming the problem, replacing a failed sewage pump and its system, and replacing the old worn crock seal. Work was tidy."

A standard well inspection begins with a visual inspection of the pump, casing, storage tank, and wiring, followed by flow rate tests and laboratory-based water sampling. The goal is to confirm that every part meets safety standards and to identify any necessary repairs before they become expensive. An inspector will also test your water quality for substances such as volatile organic compounds and any local containment concerns.
Book a licensed, insured well specialist for your inspection. Many well‑pump contractors also hold inspection credentials. They’ll bring the right tools to assess the pump, wiring, and water quality, and provide you with a clear report on any necessary fixes. Before you hire, confirm their license, insurance, and recent customer reviews.
Plan on a full well inspection every year. You’ll also want one any time the cap comes off, after septic repairs, or if flooding occurs. Annual tests look for total and fecal coliform; every two years, the lab should screen for metals and nitrates, and every five years for VOCs and pesticides. If you’re buying a home with a private well, it’s essential to schedule a pre-purchase inspection.
With routine care, most wells supply clean water for up to 40 years. Lifespan depends on the type and how well you protect it. To help it reach the maximum lifespan, keep hazardous products far from the casing, ensure the cap stays sealed, schedule yearly inspections, and address problems as soon as they appear. Good habits keep the system healthy and the water safe.
The average cost of well repairs ranges from $100 to $2,800. Your final bill depends on which part—pump, pressure tank, casing, or piping—needs attention and the level of complexity involved in the repair. A thorough inspection identifies the problem, allowing you to budget accurately and avoid paying for unnecessary parts or services.
