After years of experience in a number of engineering firms around the Bay Area, owner Chuck Archuletta decided to move to a profession that would give him more opportunity to express his creativity, work outdoors, and have more interaction with clients. He began his transition with a nursery business, and gradually took the steps to add crew, develop expertise, and ultimately create a premium pool and landscape design-build business. Chuck has cultivated a team of skilled craftspeople who have remained with the organization since its early years. They are exceptionally dedicated and passionate about their unique contributions to each project. Chuck considers himself to be someone who derives so much enjoyment from what he does that it doesn't feel like work. When he's not at his drawing board, in the field measuring a job, or working with clients, he can be found on the tennis court.

He listened to my ideas (make my yard look like Ohio in the Fall), good drainage, drought tolerant plants, attract hummingbirds, while sticking with my color selection, installing a split rail fence, I love my yard! I have had neighbors I don't know, from a block away, stop when driving by and I'm in my yard, and tell me how great it looks and they enjoyed watching the progress. His crew showed up when they said they would and each day of work, they cleaned up so the driveway was spotless. If I had another yard, I'd hire Earthwise Industries in a second!
