"Vince did an excellent job. We could not be more pleased with his work for our bathroom remodel. Many people who see our bathroom comment on how beautiful the tile work is, including other subcontractors-plumbers, framers,etc. His work involved amazing detail, part math, part art. He was so professional, on time, clarifying our desires and problem solving every step of the way. He did very unique work like tiling arched entrys into our toilet closet and shower and tiling a recessed niche with a shelf and an overhead light on a completely tiled wall against our tub deck that is just gorgeous. He is so committed to the final product being exceptional that he asked to calk around the toilet so that he could match the caulk with the grout. He put in a heated floor system and a linear drain for a curbless shower entry. Our finished bathroom looks like it could be in a magazine thanks to his work!"

"After interviewing 8 contractors, Dorson Jackson was the obvious choice for our major project/home remodel, touching on every room in the house. From the very start, Dorson has been responsive & communicative, something rare and incredibly appreciated. He's not just a contractor, he's a businessman and understands the entirety of taking on a huge project for us. He dedicated an extraordinary amount of time for his bidding process, breaking the house down into zones, and then listing every single change, plus parts and labor fees for the changes, in every zone. Every other contractor gave us a one or two page bid with very few details. Dorson's proposal was a detailed 17 page document. He is EXTREMELY organized and we were super impressed with the effort he put into bidding the project. We have since hired Dorson Construction and he and his team have begun demolition. He also sent photos to us of every room in the house after demolition so we could see what he had done, what issues were found that he had prepared for as possibilities in his bid, and comments on each photo explaining what he saw after demo. Because we are not living locally, having someone we can trust with our home from far away is of the utmost importance. Dorson recently brought his son on board and we have been equally impressed with his follow up and thoroughness. In addition, Dorson has gone out of his way to help us with our permitting process, which is not part of his job and was only necessary due to failure of a third party. "First of all, Gene was very responsive and came out to give a quote the day he called. After looking over the job two quotes were given (one to simply prep the area which is what I wanted) and two-what it would cost to do and finish the whole job. I accepted terms for prep- One of the first things I noticed was how quickly the guys wanted to get to work, even while they were getting ready to give quotes they were giving me advice on things that could screw up the project best possible outcomes-supplies I didn’t actually need - all the while raking and working! They told me they could come the following day! I had to laugh because even as they were quoting things and talking to me they were in the pit I had dug beginning to work! I had to remind them “that they were just there for a quote they shouldn’t be working yet!” ?. The guys came the next day when they said they’d be there they even called in advance to make sure that it was still OK for me. The three brothers worked together on the project were very quick brought supplies and in the end saved my back! They really went ABOVE and BEYOND my expectations- couldn’t believe it how fast efficient and fun they were! Super pleasant and really enjoyable people! I would highly recommend them to anyone ...and in fact I have been doing that by word-of-mouth all day. Very thankful to know these guys are out there!
