"Hail damage, June 1 2018, had me decide to use Epik for my insurance claim. What a mistake. They went back and forth trying to extort more out of the insurance company. This was not my first claim. Sean Ferfort fought to extort as much possible out of my insurance, beyond what I thought was acceptable. I did not expect to be on the side of the insurance company. When his unreasonable attempts failed, he decided to "take the job anyway" so "save me" from losing my deposit to him (as was written into the contract). They promptly got on my roof and punctured an AC line in the attic. The comment from the company was "can’t be held responsible for this issue" and this was backed up by verbiage in the contract. Basically, if they break something, their contract absolves them of responsibility. They further extorted another $750 out of me as they could not get it out of the insurance company. After I submitted to paying the cost of something they broke, I continued to have problems with my AC. The work was completed Jan 2019. Twice that summer, my AC went out. Today I had my regular AC guy out to repair the damage. He claims both indoor and outdoor units need to be replaced, as well as likely the line from the attic, as "someone" put a non-standard product into my system. This is a company that actively demeans and ridicules it's own clients to it's subcontractors. One of the painters called the owner, Sean Ferfort, on speakerphone with myself present in the same room. I caught a number of disparaging comments along the lines of "how do you like this @$$hole client" before the sub hung up. I write this review now as this company likely maliciously set up my AC to fail as "punishment" for standing up to my right to decent customer service, integrity from my selected contractors and value for my money. Oh, and also, I continue to deal with a leak in my kitchen from a side gable that they did not deal with during the initial claim though they did repaint the interior damage from the leak. Do Not Use This Company!"

"I had a flat-roof leak over my garage. After watching patches fail, seams open, and decking rot, and water leaking into my garage, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and inquire about flat-roof repair/replacement. I explored five different companies to do my repair. Of the 5, the smoothest communication was with Peter Evans of Alliance Roofing. I'm a detail oriented person, and this fix HAD to be flawless. Furthermore I can smell BS from a mile away. Upon initial inspection and discussion with Peter at my house, I formulated a detailed list of questions in response to receiving the estimate, because with a job this big, you can easily be fobbed off and fooled, and taken for a huge ride that ends up in court, so I wanted my questions answered. I wanted the "warm-fuzzies" before pulling the trigger on this job. I would base my final decision on whom to enlist based on how honestly and thoroughly my detailed questions were answered. Communication upfront is key ! I felt good, they were hired. I diligently watched a team of 2-4 workers come to my house over 6 days and systematically remove my old roof, clean, replace rotten decking, and restore the sub-surface before adding the minor sloping we needed to redirect water, and finishing off the roof. A few times I'd go up there and discuss with Peter the status, and remind them of certain areas critical to fix flawlessly. He and his team understood and completed the job in a very professional and complete manner. I was very satisfied with the approach, attention to detail, communication, and quality of this job. I approach all things in my personal and professional life with integrity, and I feel I found that with Alliance Roofing. It was not the cheapest estimate, but certainly VERY reasonable amongst the four others I'd received, especially considering the quality of the workmanship and communication of this company and their project leader, Peter. They put a great deal of effort into flashing, appearance, and achieving the goals we established for this roof replacement. I'm excitedly awaiting the next major rain-storm, because I want to see the new roof and slope work as designed, and because I don't feel anxiety over leaks anymore. I don't anticipate having to call them back to repair anything, but IF I DID, I feel confident I'd get quality treatment. I would certainly hire Alliance Roofing with Peter again for further roofing needs, flat-roof or otherwise, and highly recommend them. (6month later update): Love watching all the water be directed as we designed. Very happy."

"Ben and his team are a class act from start to finish! I received an immediate response to my email requesting information on a roof repair. Within 24 hours, Ben came out, gave us a written quote with detailed pictures of where our roof was compromised, and had a crew on site in days. Of course Mother Nature decided to let the rain pour on our parched Texas soil the very day that the repair was originally scheduled, but we were promptly updated via text and email with any scheduling changes due to the weather. After the repair was completed, I received texts thanking us for our business and ensuring that we were completely satisfied with the workmanship! Ben also included photos of the repairs. Finally, a sweet gift and thank you card came in the mail! We will never use a different company! Inside & Out Roofing, Painting, and Gutters is our choice from now on."
