"After some research, we hired DCR to pour a foundation in an existing building. It was kind of an icky job and we'd had several other contractors either fail to make a bid or return with a crazy estimate. Derrick showed up and immediately knew how to tackle the project. It was clear, in comparison to the others we'd spoken with, that he had the experience we needed. He spent several (maybe 5 days?) on the project and was always on time. He had two employees who were friendly, respectful, and did really nice, neat work. They did some extra work for our plumber and discovered some unexpected concrete in the way. I think this added about a day to the project but Derrick didn't charge any extra. He seemed knowledgeable as to various aspects of construction, which I think gives him an edge. Very well-rounded. I think he'd do beautiful work on a simple project and I'm definitely glad we called him for this more complicated one! In terms of both professionalism and quality of work, I'd rank him at the top. He'll be our first call for any future projects as we were very pleased with the results of this one."
