"Our concrete driveway was 35 years old, well-worn and cracked in numerous areas. It was unsightly and detracted from the overall look of the house and yard. It is also over 300 feet long covering 5200 square feet. We decided to have it replaced with pavers along with the walkway to our front door. Once that decision was made we had to figure out the contractor to use and the pavers to use. I got eight bids from small companies, midsized companies and the large national companies. The price difference between the lowest to the highest was $54,000. The two big companies were nearly twice the cost of the lowest ones. I also found that there are different methods of installing the pavers. I have a fairly steep grade on the driveway. One of the large expensive companies wanted to put 22 bolsters on the driveway. Some of the small companies weren't going to install any. The majority were going to install 3 or 4 bolsters. These keep the pavers from sliding down the grade. I ended up contracting with Eminent Pavers owned and operated by Mark (Web Site; eminentpavers.com) (Phone No. 323 842-9464) (Email; eminentconstruction1@gmail.com). Mark has been installing pavers for many years and knows his business. He also has only one crew that is overseen by his foreman, Santiago. Several of the companies I got bids from run several crews. Mark has one crew of extremely hardworking and talented craftsman. He is not overreaching and bringing in labors to operate several jobs at once. Most of Mark's employees have been with him for several years. His foreman, Santiago, has been with him for nearly ten years. Mark's cost for the project was more than fair. He was not the lowest bid, but he did much more than the lowest ones and even more that those big expensive companies. Mark also has an eye for design. Our driveway was not a box. It had curves and sweeps as it flowed to the garage. Mark was on his hands and knees making sure the finish product looked right, and it did. Picking out the right pavers is not an easy task. There are two primary suppliers and numerous colors and designs. One recommendation I have is to drive to the supply house Mark will recommend and look at them in person. The brochure photos don't always look the same in person. Once we had signed the contract we added a planter. Not a problem. Mark gave us a very fair price for the additional work. Mark's did such a great job our daughter had contracted with him to put pavers in at her house and our son is going to get a bid from him for his driveway. I rarely leave reviews. However, Mark, Santiago and the craftsman that completed this project deserve these acylates and thanks."

"It was actually one of the BEST experience I have had with repairs and upgrades to my home. I am a retired General Contractor, (40 years in the trade), specializing in very high-end custom homes. I know quality, and it seems to be getting harder to find in any trade. I was VERY HAPPY to have been referred to C. Perez Sprinkler & Landscape. I met with 3 different "contractors" and Cipriano was the absolute BEST. There was no language barrier at all. Cipriano and his entire crew were VERY professional and thoughtful. Cipriano showed up EVERY DAY, and if for some reason he couldn't, he would text me. He kept in constant touch with me. That, in and of itself, was very enjoyable. He finished on time and within budget. He even threw in a little stuff. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH of very good compliments about Cipriano, his crew and the quality of work completed. He WILL be coming back for my back yard.!!!!! He does many more projects then what I hired him for, but if you need anything done, ( landscape, lawns, gardens, hardscape, etc. etc. ) I would highly recommend that you look him up and CALL HIM !!! "I’m always happy to give good reviews and say “this is the guy you want.” Demolition was done in an organized way and cleaned up before leaving for the day and most importantly, the finished job is done right and looks great — they are skilled. Joe has decades of experience and has trained his guys very well — they are focused and hard working so they are pretty impressive. Two examples: When the guys dig, they don’t toss the dirt like wild monkeys, they place it as calmly as possible to prevent excessive dust from flying around. That’s the way it should always be done. When they unloaded a pile of sand in my driveway, they didn’t pour it on the cement as most do, they laid down a plastic sheet first and then wrapped that around the pile overnight so the sand couldn’t blow all over the place. And when a little bit of sand falls from the shovel onto the cement, they sweep it up. They are not lazy! And an example of how good Joe is: One of the things he did for me was to put in a drain pipe with a pump. After he installed the pump, he knocked on my door to ask me if I wanted the paperwork that came with the pump or to just leave it in the garage. Workers will usually either just leave any paperwork outside or even just throw it away. Joe took the time to ask me what I preferred before he left for the day. Being respectful and helpful is being smart. It’s so wonderful when you find quality people. They work from 7:30 to 3:30 and play music sometimes but are not talkative to one another. If you want a great painting company, hire Larry Bisordi or Esteban Nunez Casillas. If you want a great masonry company, hire Joe Messineo."

"Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Offered a few addresses for us to drive by to see his actual work which helped us on our decision to work with Hye Turf Design. I would highly recommend Hye Turf Designs. Thanks Hutch !"

"Our backyard was in need of a redo: We struggled to grow grass, and we wanted a space that would accommodate a trampoline and a small garden, as well as a dining table and sitting area, but still feel green and lush. After meeting with a few landscapers who suggested we get rid of the trampoline, rip up our existing brick patio and put pavers everywhere, we met Alisa from Motti's team. As a landscape designer, she really listened to what we wanted, and had great ideas for how to incorporate it all, as well as suggestions for garden planters and furniture. A week after our meeting, we got detailed plans that showed us just what the yard would look like, as well as what plants would look and work best. We then worked with Motti to tweak the plans, finalize the budget, and pick out materials, etc., and we were able to schedule the project within a few weeks time. Once the job started, Motti's team of workers were professional and efficient, and Motti stopped by daily to check the progress.
