"I used Walter and his crew for weekly mowing and landscaping. They did a great job. I have also used them to clean up my flower beds and around my trees. They put in new sod and new soil. They also took down a large tree, including the roots. It was perfect. They repaired a 7â  fence and Walter put in a new gate. He even went to his house and built the gate and returned the same day and installed it. I was so impressed! As he was leaving, I asked him about a latch that was not working on a dog kennel. He went to his truck and got what he needed and fixed it right then! They are the best I have ever used for fence repair and landscaping. I highly recommend them. By the way, I am a single girl and they are very reasonable in their costs. They are just excellent and honest!"

"We contracted with them to install a chain link fence on the front and on the rear of a vacant lot. They went to the supply store and itemized the materials that would be used in order to make their estimate. They actually started the night before the stated start date, and finished on time. "Shotty work, wrong drain system installed, exposed underground pipes could be seen. Upon calling the company, owner did return to cover the pipes correctly, but refused to change the drain system to French. Insisting it was the correct one even though standing water could be seen on the ground. Ground was left unleveled Did return to cover pipe, refused to change drainage or return a portion of the fee paid unfortunately I had to hire another company to correct system and install stepping stones. ( pictures would not upload, I cannot in good conscious recommend this company for landscape project using with pavers and irrigation system."

"The first red flag is representing himself as Steve Perez on Angi’s list when in fact his name is Ziv. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."

From working with the Sales Rep, Tom, to the Project Manager, Martin, the owner, Jed and installers Jimmy and Pedro, these guys are all perfectionists and know what they’re doing. They tore out our existing deck that was only 7 years old, already rotting and a liability to walk on. They had to start from scratch to rebuild our 455 sq. ft. deck. The installers cleaned up every day before they left and never left anything laying around the yard. They worked hard every day for 14 days and worked in everything from 83 degree weather to temps in the low 40’s (this is Texas, after all ?). These gentlemen cared about their work and it showed in their craftmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend The Deck & Patio Company for your outdoor needs. They are a well-oiled machine and the entire process was smooth and painless. We would hire them again for future projects."
