"This is the second time we’ve hired GA Chott during the past 15 years. We hired Darryll and Angie and team to build out a bathroom from scratch (no plumbing) in our upstairs attic space, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of the work is unsurpassed. We had an inspector ask us about who did the work so that he could contact them for a job in his own home. The quality and attention to detail were incredible. James is purely a rockstar – he works quietly (considering it included demo and the like), cleanly and respectfully. He kept us in the know along the way and really brought the details together. He was always available when we had questions and did quality work from top to bottom. Most of all, James really treated our home as though it was his own. The coordination of the project (which included several required inspections) was all handled by Angie and team. She is a great communicator, and that can’t be overlooked in a project of this scale. Again, she was always available for any questions we may have, and made it feel like we were their only clients. Darryll helped us navigate decisions and brought the full plan together. When we encountered a couple of small issues, he was quick to address and correct them, and assured that things were properly handled. This was a large, 8-week project. We did our homework and acquired several bids. GA Chott wasn’t the cheapest (or the most expensive), but they were clearly the best choice. We give our highest recommendation. You’ll be pleased with both the quality of the work and how it’s handled throughout the process."

"I highly recommend Dana King Next Project Studio for your home renovation needs. We were planning a rather large renovation including a complete gut of our kitchen and guest bath, as well as refreshing the family room and main hallway. It was important that we had a designer/contractor who would oversee the entire project. We had used Dana King in 2015 to refresh our foyer, living room and dining room and we were impressed with how smoothly the project went, so we hired them again in late 2022. We met with Dana to go over the scope of the project. Dana then gave us estimated costs and timelines. Dana’s group handled every step of the project. The project was overseen by our project manager, Drew Chapman. They made sure all the proper permits were in place before the project began. Our designer, Meg Blais, was in contact with us nearly every day for design selections. The carpenters, Nick Duncan and Greg Piper, made sure the project stayed on schedule, overseeing plumbers, flooring installers, electricians, insulators, fireplace installers, and painters. Meg made sure our appliances, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, paint, and backsplashes were all ordered on time to keep the project on track. Our biggest design issues were with the kitchen location. From the front door, you had to either walk down the hall through the family room into the kitchen, or else go through the dining room. I am not a fan of open concept, so I needed ideas on how to make the kitchen more accessible without tearing down walls. I was also concerned that the main narrow hallway was so dark. Meg came up with the great idea of adding a doorway from the kitchen to the hallway. This provided immediate access to the kitchen from the main hallway, as well as providing extra light to the hallway. She also increased the opening from the dining room to the kitchen and moved the refrigerator to a more accessible location. Even though the doorway in the kitchen meant losing cabinet space, Meg’s design gave us more storage than we had in the old kitchen. The entire process took three months, but the project manager and carpenters kept us informed every single day what had been completed and what was happening the next day, so we were never left wondering what was next with our project. Because Dana King Next Project Studio handles every aspect of a remodel, you don’t have to worry about permits, inspections, which trades people will be showing up each day. Everything was so smooth, and the people assigned to our project were the nicest, kindest, and most professional I’ve ever worked with. I had no problem with having them in our home every day. Our dog loved everyone; it was tough to keep him out from underfoot. Just the best company I’ve ever worked with, and we will definitely use them again when it's time to update our master bed and bath."

"Shawn and his guys do amazing work. From the first time I met him, I knew he was honest and professional in what he does. There was a problem with flooring issue during the job and he fixed it for me. Just today, I had an issue with my doors sticking and he came to fix it. He is a stand up guy for sure. "Only rating 1 because it doesn't go lower. Had a new unit installed end of Sept 24. First time power goes out on 11/5, no electricity. When tri state sells you a product, they pitch their amazing customer service with all these guarnatees of knowing when your unit is out before you know and having someone there within 24 hours etc. Well, the first call we make we are told it will be the end of Nov to get someone out to look at it. 3 weeks. Nobody shows up. Then we get a call that says "your appointment on Dec 12 has been canceled and the earliest we can get to you is Jan 16th. This is 2.5 months wait to get service to fix a nearly $20k unit, that is upcharged because of the excellent service. You can't get anyone to answer your call. you wait on hold for 20 minutes, then have to leave a voicemail in which you will not get called back. Based on my experience, find someone else and pay less. Even if the service is bad, which it can't be worse than this, you save money! @kohler"
