"I told Luis I needed around 30 shingles replaced. He gave me an estimate which sounded reasonable. He showed up on time and started work. Its partially my fault I should have got on the roof to inspect the work myself. He replaced around 10 shingles and still charged the price he quoted me for 30. He would not provide a receipt after multiple requests. Avoid Lakewood Exteriors, Now I need to find a roofer to complete the job. I will not use Angis list for that search."

I had a complete tear-off to deck (2 layers) and several replacement skylights. "After purchasing our new home and enduring an especially cold and snowy winter, we noticed that water was collecting in our gutters and seeping into the drywall. This turned out to be the result of an improperly installed roof edge that would not allow snow and water to be pushed away from the house. We contacted Virtuous Roofing and asked if they could send someone over to review. They responded almost immediately and had a crew inspecting our roof the next day. The boss, Edgar, personally reached out to confirm the arrival of his crew. He even delivered the materials to fix the roof himself! Edgar took the time to show how his crew had replaced the roof under the guidance of the previous owner. The next day, the crew was back and quickly installed the new roof edge. They were very easy to communicate with, and under Edgar's guidance, I feel like we are in good hands should anything else come up with our roof and gutters!"

Flat roofs should generally be recoated every three to five years, depending on the climate. Since they don’t have a slope to help them avoid rain and sunlight, they wear out more quickly than a pitched roof.
If you have an EPDM rubber roof, it likely resists weather damage already and shouldn’t ever need to be recoated.
